Donald Trump on birther question: 'I don't know' - Business Insider

when asked about his birther beliefs trump said "...i'm off that subject " but he did add this:

"Do you know that Hillary Clinton was a 'birther'? She wanted those records and fought like hell; people forgot. Do you know that John McCain was a 'birther'?"

both those accusations are lies. neither clinton or mccain ever did anything to support the birther belief ( let alone "[fight] like hell" ).

also, in a recent interview on NBC, when questioned about his birther beliefs trump said it was an "old subject" and changed the topic.

He can try to brush off his Birtherism as "I'm off that subject" but it doesn't work that way. He got his nosed wiped in Hawaii when he sent investigators there but he's not a big enough man to admit that they didn't find anything to fit his narrative. He's such an egoistical wind bag!

Who cares? Trump would be a better president than any of them. You have a community leader in office that never ran a lemonade stand. How did Florida's economy do with Bush? How many bribes did Clinton take from foreign countries while in office? How many federal crimes did she commit?

Trump will get things done. The rest are all talk no action. That's why Trump will lead the polls from now on, despite the media twisting his words and completely dishonest reporting.

What exactly do you think Trump will get done? And what Constitutional powers do you think the President has?

my belief is that trump's "people in hawaii investigating" either didn't actually exist or he was referring to jerome corsi and mike zullo.

either way i concur that it's unlikely that trump will come clean and admit the facts of the situation.

Oh, I think our "community leader" has done great things. You just don't happened to like the things he's inspired and has accomplished in his presidency. History will judge him very well. Trump is a joke---past, present and future.

annoyomous emails were started by Hillary & Bill supporters, not Hillary, and believe me I don't like the woman. So who knows? Anything can happen in politics

there has always been a question about McCain being an american born citizen b/c he was born in a canal zone? Who knows?

it is an old subject, which is true, perhaps even if the man is wrong, he just wants to move on....

when your in politics anything and everything can be covered up...we as Americans fail to procecute things that polticians should have been prosecuted for.

Failure to prosecute, indict, and convict violators of US laws and international treaties prohibiting torture who then lie about it under oath, and when found out justify their illegal acts by claiming that they worked to make America safer, as if this excuses law breaking;

Failure to investigate, prosecute, indict, and convict government officials who engage in unconstitutional surveillance activities and then lie about it under oath;

Failure to investigate, prosecute, indict, and convict financial banksters and fraudsters for crimes resulting in the loss of many trillions of dollars of asset value owned by middle and working class Americans

Failure to indict, and convict some police murders, and to even investigate and prosecute most of them

Failure to investigate, prosecute, indict, and convict police for rapes

Failure to investigate, prosecute, indict, and convict police for unlawful seizure of private property

Failure to investigate, prosecute, indict, and convict police violations of constitutional rights to freedom of speech, assembly, and press

DHS collaboration in violations of First Amendment Rights by State and Local Governments

and the list goes on and on and on...

No matter what side we're on, we all have agendas, and things can certainly be twisted around...after all, we've become a lawless nation...so anything goes, and will go from here on.

It's one thing to break balls about a birth certificate. It's another for Hillary to take bribes from foreign countries while in office. Very classy Obama, doesn't acknowledge Kate Steinle death, not even a little recognition. But if she was a black criminal that was shot by a white cop, Bush, Clinton, and Obama would be at her funeral, holding hands and crying.
