No, you should voluntarily give to the government, but instead you want to force others to do it. I never moved the goalposts, you simply are playing by two different rules.
When I asked you earlier if you supported the QE programs you didn't answer....why is that?
Additionally, OECD-affiliated economists have ranked the most harmful taxes for economic growth. Corporate taxes are the most harmful, followed by personal income taxes, consumption taxes, and, lastly of the taxes examined, property taxes. Therefore, consumption and property taxes are where we should be collecting the most tax revenue if we want better economic growth.
That's why Scandinavian and European countries don't go after the wealthy's hidden investment income and capital gains. That's why they don't tax foreign-earned income. That's why they don't have a FATCA law like the U.S. That's why their corporate taxes are lower.
And finally, that's why they rely so heavily on consumption taxes that EVERYONE pays for tax revenue.
According to this in January, the 47% are down to 40 and expected to continue dropping. If only the olds would get off their butts and work till they drop, eh.

Who said I did. I just said I couldn't give extra money to the government at the moment and that others face similar issues whether it is medical bills or student loans.

Have you, at any time, donated money to the government?

No because I haven't made enough in my position to do so based on my own fiscal house because I make too much for welfare as a single individual who only can get part-time work. Part time isn't really enough to pay bills but at least it is work... Can't say I am taker or part of the 47% that way...
What is a QE program? I'd like you to explain that before I answer.
Unless you are a rich person, you are advocating policies that are against your best interests. Why do you do this? Is it lack of education? The elite laugh at people like you. The 1% has for too long managed to win by reducing voter turnout and distract voters with wedge issues.
Bernie Sanders believes everyone who has the ability should be able to get a proper education. This means you can also potentially get an education, so you wont have to work as a shill for the rich anymore.

No, if only we had a 20-25% VAT tax that EVERYONE pays like Scandinavian and European countries do, and rely much less on income tax. Then we could fund all the social and safety net program goodies those countries have. I already posted the comparison between the U.S. and the OECD'S averages. We're doing it wrong. They're getting it right and providing much more for their populations.
If we get Denmark, Sweden, Norway's quality of life, public services, health care, and a culture with a fraction of the homocides and general violence, then probably.
