Just breaking tonight:

"The Teamsters union has decided to withhold an endorsement of Democratic presidential frontrunner Hillary Clinton, Fox News reports."

The reasons given:

1) Not happy with Clinton's recent announcement that she opposes construction of the Keystone XL pipeline.

2) Waiting to see what Biden does.

3) Want to talk to Republican candidates as well especially frontrunner Donald Trump, who has worked with unionized workers throughout his career.

Fox: Teamsters Withholding Hillary Endorsement

My opinion is the only reason why I think they mention Trump specifically is that it would save them a lot of money in donations since he isn't taking any.

But, what do you think they are really up to? Is this just a covert way to get Biden to run?

Trump does have a good relationship with the Teamsters from multiple construction jobs etc, but it is likely they fall in line and endorse Clinton or Biden.

Think of the money they would save their union members if they endorsed Trump. He won't take their money so the unions would get a presidential freebie. The only thing is he better think carefully what he says about FEDERAL public employee unions.

.. and if they do, Trump will be sure to make them pay. Good luck getting work on his next project.

Probably just waiting for Biden's decision, and showing little panties to Mr. Trump.

I am sure that Mr. Trump has fought union certifications on many occasions.

The only reason the Teamsters and other unions support Democrats is they are the only party that isn't aggressively hostile to the existence of union labor. They're waiting on Biden and seeing what Trump has to say as a way to tell Hillary to not take their endorsement for granted.
