Eighty percent of Republican voters surveyed say they approve of George W. Bush's tenure as president.
Their feelings toward Bush don't quite match their admiration for Ronald Reagan -- just 29 percent "strongly approve," while 51 percent approve only somewhat. But 85 percent say that Bush did a "good" or "excellent" job of keeping the nation safe.Voters as a whole are less impressed, with the majority of Democrats and independents disapproving of his legacy.
I'm less than proud to say that I voted for Bush in 2000. Wasn't long until he and his fascist supporters demonstrated all I need to know about the GOP:
Endless wars.
Accusations of treason for anybody who dissents.
Upward wealth redistribution.
Deregulation at all costs.
Selective application of basic constitutional rights.
I couldn't stand Bush when he was in office.
But in retrospect and after getting some political education I realize he wasn't so bad after all.
He did the best he could with a **** sandwich.
I also loved Clinton and now realize the damage he did to the country.
Just goes to show what a crapshoot it is with politicians.
I'm sure those same Bush supporters believe that:
+9/11 happened under Clinton
+Katarina happened under Obama
+The biggest Financial crises that wiped out their savings and destroyed the Dow Jones were the result of Obama failed Policies
I just love Republicans ... I can't wait for them to nominate ... Jeb!!! or Carly
Uh; not THIS Repub: I think Obama was Bush 2.0 and, I didn't like either POTUS.
