I know she was your greatest hope for President, but aren't you kind of happy that an actual liberal like Bernie Sanders has a chance at winning the nomination?

I am. At this time, I prefer Bernie over anybody else. But he has to prove his worth to be on the ballot. Clinton has a tough one but if she manages to win, she will have my support.

I am a liberal. Mrs. Clinton was never my "greatest hope for president" so yes, I am glad that there might be another option.

If she was the greatest hope for president then she would already be president

No, I am glad that it isn't inevitable, especially if Biden enters.

Let me say I like Bernie a lot, but I am a realist. He isn't going to win the general election, unless it is against someone with high unavailability rating or someone who is totally clueless about the issues and current events.

Moreover, outside of NH and IA, I don't know how much "chance" he has of winning the primaries and caucuses.

But ultimately, may the best candidate win.

However misguided they always are, I do enjoy reading your posts.

I'd be happy if a miracle occurred and Jim Webb got the nod, not a fan of Hillary or Bernie.
