I gave up years ago on the hope that a president might improve the country. The past few presidents have accelerated us into decline, with Obama probably being the worst. We will be a 3rd world nation by mid-century unless something changes. None of the viable presidential candidates have any clue about the problems facing our nation and will only change things for the worse. At this point, the only question is which viable presidential candidate will further damage our the nation the least. Who should we be trying to nominate? I want to at least slow the decline into third-world status.

If you think Obama was the worst, you were sleeping through the Bush years.... Who got us into a war over phony data?

I didn't think there could be a worst president than W. So I voted for Obama. I was wrong. Obama took what was wrong with Bush and elevated to new levels.

The fascinating thing about that, are those who are so deluded by partisan dogma that they constantly fault one while completely ignoring the same thing with the other.

The difference between Obama and Bush is this: Bush came into office with a nice clean desk. Clinton left him with a balanced budget and a lot of other things.

Obama didn't get a clean desk.

And Obama made the desk even messier. I used to think that GW Bush was the worst president ever. Then along came Obama to prove me wrong.

I've got to disagree. Dick Cheney left office with a 19% approval rating. Who the heck gets a rating that low? There is no one in the Obama administration that's at 19% or lower.

Obama still has over 1 year to go. Give it time, he'll get there LOL! He has done so much damage to this country.

Actually, I just went to check Cheney's approval rating. I remembered wrong! It was actually at 13%. Remembering Why Americans Loathe Dick Cheney - The Atlantic

Bush was at 22%.

Terrible.

There's zero logic in claiming Obama is worse than Bush. You're both clearly right-wingers.
