No he is not. He is the best candidate on the Republican side and only lost the election in 2012 because of Ryan and the fact he was running against an incumbent candidate.
Who in their right mind bases their vote on the VP?
How did Ryan ruin him? Many Republicans I know loved Ryan and thought it was a wise choice.
No, Ryan absolutely did not ruin Romney. Romney ruined Romney. Specifically, he said that 47% of Americans believe they are "victims" or depend on the government. That's was the nail in the coffin for him and I have no doubt it would come back to haunt him quite potently should he ever try to run again. Maybe the people of NH have amnesia but I doubt the population at large will be so quick to disregard that comment. I'm fairly sure he's unelectable. Plus he's too busy enjoying life as a member of the 1% in his oceanfront La Jolla home.
Who in their right mind bases their vote on the VP?
I did and further, I only went out to vote because Ryan was on the ticket. Among many, MANY of the failings I attributed to Bush was that he did not select a VP that could continue for another 8 years IF Bush had been successful.
Romney running again is the best hope the Republicans have of beating Hillary and they know it.
No, Kasich is the best hope Republicans have of beating Hillary and they DON'T know it. Or they don't care, because today's Republican party has gone so far to the right that they really prefer a Cruz or a Trump even though he will lose.
I am a big fan of Mitt Romney and I think someone should start a "Draft Mitt" movement. He keeps saying that he won't run but there are seemingly endless rumors that he is actually preparing to run. These rumors have significantly intensified over the past few weeks.
Maybe he will show up at the convention, come riding onto the stage on a white horse to lead us to victory against The Hildabeast.
Romney? That would be like the Dems trotting out Gore. Pathetic.
