It matters when someone tweets a racially motivated statistic derived from a Neo-Nazi site. FOX News even called him out on it. And the site he tweeted the statistic from, a website that derived that statistic from a place that does not exist. And an apology was demanded from Trump for his behavior. He refused.

This is about Trump, and Trump alone.

Trump is a smart guy who will figure things out.

Don't fall for the liberal lie that anyone who talks like Trump must be stupid.

That's how liberals shame people into being politically correct in the first place.

And go check out Trump's website and read some of his books.

Make an educated assessment of him.

That shouldn't be hard to do.

He just published a new book, "Crippled America."

It's all relative. Hillary lied about the video (Benghazi) and has lied about many other things.

Her hubby Bill lied under oath to Congress and lost his law license as a result.

Obama lied when he said "If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor."

Trump says what he thinks, unfiltered -- unlike Obama, Hillary, Bill, etc.

He is not coming up with a lot of details yet, and I also wish he would be more scrupulous, but he is hardly out of the mainstream of politicians being careless with the truth.
Well, we are not talking about the other politicians. We are talking about Trump and Trump alone. I do not trust Trump based on what I have seen from him so far. I do not understand why you trust him. Anyone who doesn't think about what they're saying before they say it is quite wreckless. I base my assessment of Trump based on what I have seen thus far.

And if Trump is saying these things unfiltered, then I have reason to worry, especially after that tweet he made. If he really thinks Black people are that bad, I fear what he might do to ME when he's in office.

Does it refute what I said? This is about Trump, and Trump alone.

We are becoming an ultra passive, feeble, self helpless society. I think people see Trump, his boldness and at times brashness and think "hes a dumb wrecking ball" when really he just has balls and we aren't used to that anymore (Ralph Peters painted that picture last week). We need more ballsy men who are unafraid to hurt feelings in a society of hyper sensitive children. Trump is a great start to get the ball going in the right direction. Really listen and you hear a smart man with common sense.
This is an excellent post. Read it again and give some thought to what was said.

I can't say "yeah, people killed by police when they are innocent is bad, and something needs to be done, but killing cops and smashing neighborhoods is not the answer" without being called "a pawn of white supremacy." And the fact that I am half-black? Inconsequential

I look at a girl's butt when she wears yoga pants in the street, and I am "objectifying" her. (Don't want to be looked at like a piece of meat? Wear more then shrink wrap.)

I say I don't hate Muslims, but this whole Wahhabi/Qutbists Jihad thing is the evil ideology this generation will have to face, and I get called an Islamophobe who "is ignorant about the religion of peace." My degree in Comparative Religion? Doesn't matter, still ignorant cause I don't want to sing Kumbaya with Hamas

A person can't say, do, or think the wrong thing all of a sudden without angering the ultra-liberal authoritarian thought police....and I say this as a pretty socially liberal guy myself.

And then I read about things like this...

I just...I just...

I almost want to vote for Trump if for no other reason then to give the finger to the culture of absurd political correctness that has taken hold of this country. And I think that's a big chunk of his appeal: he is a cultural candidate. It is his unspoken issue that he is running on. People are tired of being told to watch what they say, how they act, and what they think because it may offend someone. And Trump is, even if he doesn't say it out loud, kind of running against that.

And yes, conservatives do sometimes try to shut people up too, but recently, rightwing censors and outraged whiners have all but gone away while the left wing PC police have gotten bigger. You don't hear "concerned Christians" running around trying to ban my porn, my Marlyn Manson, my R-rated movies, etc like you used to. The days of "The People vs Larry Flint", school prayer and the Ten Commandments tattooed on the judge's head are all but done with. Now, it's the only the Social Justice Crusaders you have to worry about, because the Christian religious right censorship crusaders have all but given up.

And Trump is running on this new, flip side of the culture war the political establishment has yet to challenge. He is the only one willing to say "hey, maybe a man should be able to call a cute girl 'honey' and maybe I should be able to make fun of countries I don't like?" And that is why he has so much support.

I don't really want him to be president. He would be a disaster because he doesn't have a clue what he's doing. But as a symbol that says "shut-up, social justice warriors, I don't care if you're offended" he is, I am sad to say, an appealing icon.
All I'm going to say (after repping this post to the max) is that you are a great American and we need more people who think like you. This is exactly what's going on, and I'm glad you realize it. I agree 100% with your argument. So much truth in this post!! (except for the "I hate trump" part- check that

I can relate totally to OP, but there is a difference between "nonsensical political correctness" on one hand, and "human decency" and "compassion" on the other.

POWs are not noteworthy other than that they got captured;
Nobody will vote for Carly Fiorina because she's got an ugly face;
Megyn Kelley is bleeding from wherever;
Mexicans are murders and rapists (or are we to believe only illegals do that?);
It's so cute how that handicapped reporter guy curls his arm and hand like this!;
Any and all Muslims should be denied entry into the US because of their religion;
Maybe that black protester should have been roughed up; and
Thousands and thousands of Muslims protesting. . . . I count very fast.

It's not good when Pope Francis disagrees with many of your positions. Or when Bibi Netanyahu(!) thinks that your policy towards Muslims is abhorrent. Or when your own party condemns your statement in unison. When those things happen, perhaps he may have gone beyond mere political correctness. Just maybe.

But Mick...the cancer of political correctness has so infiltrated this nation, that Trump's approach to it may be the only antidote. How else would you try to get rid of PC filters and name-calling that prevents us from discussing and solving the issues? Could we not agree that it's possible we need someone like Trump to shock us, wake us up, because nothing else will work?

And furthermore: would you trust Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders, Ted Cruz, or Marco Rubio to clean up the mess that political correctness has caused?

Trump is easy to understand, he not a politician. He doesnt care if he lose. A politician going tell you what ever you want to hear so he will win and will never do any of it. It not that trump is bad, it the politician got you so brain wash that you want somebody that doesnt do anything.

Trump is not even in the same class as all the others

Poof! In an instant, Trump has killed political correctness. Now the more you think about it, the wall doesn't seem like such a radical idea. The more of these stupid PC barriers we can knock down, the more problems we will solve. I don't care who's offended anymore, I'm going to take Trump's approach and start calling it like it is. We don't have time to be PC!

Many do not understand what Trump is doing. I agree with very little of what he says but I love what he is doing. When he tells someone in the media that he didn't take the time to research something, what he is saying is "you aren't worth the time for me to research something". He is slamming the media........even if that is missed somewhat it's still working.
