It was a black comedy on TV network news written by Paddy Chayevsky that unfortunately seems less satirical now than when it was written.

They are still in the same pickle. If they all attack Trump it gives Trump more time to respond and again it will seem like he dominated the debate and Carson will only speak for a few minutes.

The only way they can win is to have one or two at the most go after Trump. Someone who is very low in the polls. It has to be Carly and Christie.

Rubio and Cruz go after each other and take Trump out of the spotlight.

Bush will once again thank Trump for allowing him to speak at the debate and if he gets any time it will be because he is desperate and interrupts.

Kasich will attack Bush because being desperate and interrupting is his MO. But when he does get some time he will repeat three times " he is the only one who understands a budget."

I don't know who the moderators are but they have orders to make Trump look bad. Trump will attack them. Count to four and a food fight breaks out to show the world how presidential they all look.

Hillary will be ask what she though about the debate and laugh and go into the -- OH how dangerous they all are.

I actually think that Kasich will be one of the ones to attack The Donald. He just can't help himself.

The Kasichs, Bushes, Christies will have to attack many of the others since they are so low in the polls they have no choice.

Cruz will not attack Trump because the way he is handling the campaign has moved him up to number one in Iowa.

Attacks on Trump may be less since now Rubio and Cruz are high in the polls.
Cruz and Rubio, if they assume that Trump is eventually a drop out, may realize that it could become a Cruz and Rubio fight and they may attack each other. This lessens the attack pressure on Trump.

Trump uses Rev. Franklin Graham (who said that "Muslim ban is common sense") comments about immigration. Also the CIA director on CNN in the last hour or so said Obama needs to stop calling it radicalism because it is clearly Jihad. Trump can use these comments by the son of Billy Graham and the CIA director to drive home his point about immigration put on temporary hold. To repel any attack by the other candidates or the moderators.

The breaking news of LA schools being closed today over backpack bombs will probably help The Donald in terms of his Muslim immigrant argument.

Yep. My prediction is intermittent heavy fear-mongering.

Not fear-mongering---common sense.

The fear-mongering will be left to the Left, who will say we shouldn't draw cartoons of Mohammed in order to prevent such attacks, and that free speech shouldn't apply to critiquing Islam.

I was not thinking of that when I posted, but at 52, I am quite old enough to remember that.

It's not fear mongering when pointing out the obvious. Trump says we have a lot of problems concerning Muslim ideology. That's just the truth as terrorist attacks and threats around the world bear out.
