Thought I saw a Gallup today on one of the Sunday shows that gave Trump 70-something percent unfavorables with Blacks, and something like 50% with Hispanics. He might have the WASP vote in Gooberville Iowa, but it'll be interesting to see if he can better the support Obama got.

Keep in mind that most blacks routinely vote for Democrats. Ronald Reagan once got 14 percent of the African-American vote and it was considered a triumph.

There was one poll last fall that showed Trump with 25 percent support among blacks, but it would be a shocker if those numbers held up.

Attracting black voters is a mater for the general election. He doesn't have to worry about it now. He has plenty of material to appeal to blacks. Cutting the trade deficit with China in half would free up $250B a year for investment here.

Every time someone talks about Trump moving to the center after he gets the right wingers all lined up, I think of Steve Martin saying "That was the old me, this is the new me!". Romney tried and no one bought it. We've seen how the Trump supporters will follow him anywhere, we'll have to see if he can grow that group or if they will just be ignored.

Here we see Trump trolling the press and followers of the mass media (us), yet again.

His success is dependent on dominant television coverage. Here we see the primary way that he manipulates the press into giving it to him, for free no less. He intentionally makes these sorts of outrageously over the top statements, which not even he himself believes, and then the press wears themselves out flogging stories about them to the public.

Of course in order to successfully do this, our mass media has to be obsessed with tabloid style "journalism" and sensationalism however they can get it. Trump is feeding it to them like candy to a baby. Except we are the "baby" in this scenario. The media is passing it on to us and we are eating it up.

Trump is absolutely right. African Americans in Los angeles County have been completely decimated by illegal immigration. Once proud Black communities like Compton and Inglewood have been throughly obliterated by illegal aliens and Blacks in this region are absolutely outraged by this invasion.

Trump will get at least 40% of the African American vote in Southern California because they have witnessed firsthand the destruction of their communities by illegal immigration.

To be fair, when Trump said Blacks will like him more than Obama, he meant Clint Black and Rebecca Black.

And this is what the 'left-wingers' did for the minorities and the poor: Income Inequality Worse Under Obama Than George W. Bush. Blacks and others of color have a very good reason to back Trump - they might have a job and a chance for a better life!

Mr. Trump is right. He will easily top Obama's 93% and 95% support among black voters in 2008 and 2012. Easily. Maybe like 104%.
