I actually hide from them when they show up. In 2012 Santorum won Iowa with 29000 votes. Trump, the novice who didn't even know what ground game was got 45000 votes. We shall see.

If that is true then why anybody should listen to pollsters anymore? There were literally hundreds of polls spanning months and months. How can they all be wrong? Even the "gold standard" said Trump wins. BTW, what did that wonky blog 538 or whatever it is say? There is something going on we don't understand.

And a few days before that, both CNN and Fox News had Trump by 11. Add the 4 that Cruz won by, and that is a 15 point turnaround in less than a week.

As often as these polls are wrong, which is pretty often, it is amazing how many people just assume that they are dependable and sure to be right.

I still think he will self-destruct. He can't go the distance. The guy truly believes he is always right. When the voters disagree, he simply cannot face the reality that people don't agree with him. He's not used to that. Has his own company, his own tv show, and is surrounded by sycophants, family and people who make their living from him.

He was told skipping the Iowa debate was a bad idea, but was very confident he knew better and his thin-skin was upset with Megyn and Fox.

Also, I'm sure Iowans saw through all that fake bible-thumping nonsense. If you are going to pander--do it well and without arrogance, like other politicians. It was like he was ridiculing them because he thought he could fool them. He has no clue how everyday people (the non-angry ones) react to his behavior, or what they think, because he can in no way shape or form relate to them.

Frankly, I would love to hear Bill Clinton's take on all this--I bet Trump would as well. Trump is now boxed in--he can't ask the smartest people in the room for advice because he has alienated them all with his attack-mode. People are scared of crossing him, less they become a victim of Trump's revenge, so they avoid him or lie.

You just described me! Trump has the most money in this race and isn't using it properly not to mention his thousands if not millions of supporters who are willing to help him win that he isn't really working with.

Today Trump should be in NH and he's in Arkansas.

Well isn't that exactly what his supporters want.....a candidate who doesn't know squat about politics, lol, lol, lol!

You've been talking about Trump's demise for how many months now? 7 Months and he's only picked up steam so when and if he actually does pull out - I wouldn't give myself any pats on the back.

You may not like him but he's captured everyone's attention without having spent 10's of millions on ads like some have done. He's brought the issues that real middle class American's want politician's to address and now all the other candidates are parroting him, you ask how he's going to pay for the wall and have not been satisfied with any response but follow candidates that are known liers or who have no conceptions about how their policies will put us deeper in debt - and for being so dumb - the guy came in 2nd ahead of career politicians who have campaigned before.

So make fun of him - hate him - whatever - the candidates are at least talking about the real issues we care about.
