Bernie Sanders wants a political revolution. And most Americans think one might be necessary, according to a new poll conducted by Morning Consult and Vox.
Antime you ask democrats if they want free stuff, they're going to say yes. Nothing new here.
The Tea Party is the furthest thing from Democrat. Your insinuation falls flat on it's face.
Besides, the only people that have been given TRILLIONS and TRILLIONS in "free stuff" are the richest and most powerful in society-the leeches and parasites of our society. The Federal Reserve, via corporate bailouts and quantitative easing, has given massive amounts of welfare, to their cronies and banksters. This welfare, created out of thin air, is unprecedented in our history.
Something tells me you would never dare speak on that. But just a mere suggestion of doing the same for poor and working class Americans sends you into fits of rage. Hypocrisy!
54% of less than 1900 people polled is hardly a metric worth noting. I did find this tidbit in the article interesting:
And the poll contained one troubling result for Sanders. When people were asked whether big government or big business was a bigger threat to the country's future, 55 percent named big government, compared with only 29 percent who named big business — suggesting the country hasn't moved so far to the left after all, and that an agenda that will expand government remains a tough sell.

I don't think they can/should be separated. Big Business and Big Government are like a corrupt alliance; they need and use each other to pursue their goals. Big Business infiltrates our Government/buys politicians to pass the legislation/trade deals/etc they want. Big Government is powerful-but more of an illusion of power since it is controlled by Big Business behind the scenes. Politicians today are nothing more than whores for whatever industry owns them.
The Federal Reserve is where the corruption/collusion between Big Business/Big Government manifests itself, and is hidden away from the average citizen. The Fed must be dismantled, and their "too big to fail" banks broken up.
We have spent the past 30+ years redistributing money from the middle and upper-middle classes to the top .1% in the form of tax breaks, subsidies and stagnant wages. So why not?
73% of Americans want to increase taxes on the wealthy. Only 21% dont. Your economic agenda is really unpopular.
So how do you raise taxes on the wealthy? There is currently no Federal ad valorem tax on assets. If you have a billion dollars in assets and no income of any kind, you pay no federal tax. I haven't seen where changing that is part of Bernie's plan.

Very clever.
