It's really obvious. And no, Carly should not be in the debate.
What have I missed in the past few hours? When did you see Huckabee in the Trump camp? I guess I need to pay more attention. Yes, he was at the Vet rally with him, but that isn't being in his camp. he wasn't at Trumps side even here in AR. Will he jump on Trumps bandwagon, quite possibly, but I didn't know he already had?.

We are not discussing Santorum right now; the topic is Carly and Cruz.

Or C) Wants someone else to attack Mr. Trump imo.

Agree on that she should not with her 2% be in the debate.

Default Cruz calls for Fiorina to be in Saturday's debate

Of course he does. He'd love to have someone who might deflect some of the criticism that's coming his way.

The reality is that she's a nonfactor.

1) Trump said in a speech a couple days ago that he and Huckabee
"have become great friends".
2) Huck has been spending time with Trump camp:
It quickly became apparent on stage that Huckabee and Trump have bonded, as the two smiled and bear-hugged before a wildly-cheering crowd and Huckabee went on to wax poetic about the billionaire developer.
3) Huck and the Super PAC that backed him have been slamming Cruz.

Expect Huckabee to rally with Trump just before the Arkansas primary
for max impact.

We should surmise that Huckabee wants strong consideration for the
VP/Cabinet slot with Trump, just like Santorum wants VP/Cabinet with Rubio.

Yes, she has no place with only 2% what yet the top tier.

Agree. He'll need all the help he can get. The debate should be well worth watching. "You reap what you sow" and I'm ready to watch Cruz "reap".

That sounds good. I have been "ify" on Huckabee but I do trust him.

With David Barton as Principal Officer, Non-Profit Mercury One Gave $100k to Barton’s Wallbuilders (I don't particularly like this link, but I don't have time to look for a better one).

To comment on OPs post - no Carly should NOT be in the debate! Rules are rules, and we had several people drop out of the race since the rules have been in effect. She did not qualify, and she would have had a team of others with her if Rand, Huckabee, and Santorum did not drop out. And don't forget Gilmore, he is still in and he will not be included in the debate. Therefore, she is NOT the only one being excluded!
