I don't think one word or one action defines a person. When I "judge" (for lack of a better word here), I judge the behavior pattern.
There is an eternal child in every Narcissist and it is pretty safe to assume ALL politicians have Narcissistic personality traits.
This said, Yes, sometimes, Trump's words bother me and I don't agree with everything he has to say. But I think people sometimes take his words out of context and I also think people tend to take his words too personality.
The truth is you will never know what politicians (most of them are billionaires) truly think of the colored people, the veterans, the shrinking middle class, or the struggling working people.
I grew up in an upper middle class neighborhood, and I have extremely rich friends because of that. Because of my brother's military career, I've also had extremely poor friends who are always struggling. I think different people have different priorities in life.
All these being said, Trump is a low risk, high reward candidate. I do believe he is capable of making deals. Wouldn't mind trying him for four years.

Actually, after watching him for the last few months I think the opposite is true. I think he is a high risk/low reward candidate. Just thinking of him ignorantly and rudely blustering his way through foreign affairs with real world leaders makes me shudder. He could set the U.S. relations with the rest of the world back decades.

That is a possibility, yes. But I can't say I have any confidence in anybody in both parties. (Maybe Bernie is the only exception.) Third party for me, most likely.
His words don't bother me, mostly for the reasons stated by Bulldogdad; to be offended by him is to be a hypocrite about what you think in your own mind and heart from time to time.
It's about actions for me. Does he cheat to get votes? Does he take money from special interest groups in order to do their bidding after the election? Did he get rich off tax payers or from his own hard work?
A really good response^^^. And, Trump is just Trump. I'm guessing if you secretly tape him, you won't get the surprises like we have with others. This election needs to let personalities go and think about who is most likely going to revive our wilting country. We are on the fast track to a 3rd country. It may not be in your neighborhood today, but is coming.

I would say YES. After what Cruz did to "win" Iowa and the fact that Trump didn't punch Cruz in his Pinocchio nose, he is doing much better than I could have done even though I keep telling myself "vengeance is mine says the Lord", Cruz really is asking for it!

While it is fine that some find the language offensive, do these same people avoid others, internet and television in order to avoid offensive language or is it simply an issue with Trump? We cut off cable TV 8 years ago and limit our internet websites and still cannot avoid the language.
I don't use the language nor do I keep friends that use the language BUT I have to look at the big picture and the big picture says TRUMP 2016. We live among illegals.

I think it is time for a change. We are conditioned to accept politicians to be these unflawed perfect PC robots. Trump is a game changer, and his personality and attitude may actually be what this country needs right now.
We have had nice and they screwed us nicely.
They want to do it again in the same nice way but do they buy you flowers or a a box of chocolates. No, They don't.
They take the tax money and give it to donors and special interest in the form of corporate welfare who buy them flowers and chocolates.
Time to try the mean guy who wants to put Americans first and make them respected again.
OP, go to the Trump is on fire in Baton Rouge thread, start it at the time recommended by the OP of that thread. Best speech to-date...and he addresses your issue with him.
To quote Indigo Montoya from The Princess Bride: "You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means."
I have to spread the reps around a bit, but just wanted to give you kudos!
