The only WALL I want to see is the one that keeps the Islamic Wackos isolated in Arabia where they can keep busy killing each other.

I see no reason to be so paranoid about illegal immigration from the Christian (yes, Bubba Catholics are Christians) societies of Central and South America. Aside from the gang related criminals that are no different from gang related immigrants from Ireland or Sicily in a previous day, these people make good neighbors.

Here's why Trump just might win:

Carrier in Indy, UTEC in Huntington to move units to Mexico, costing 2,100 jobs
Kris Turner, kris.turner@indystar.com 10:42 a.m. EST February 12, 2016

People, families are losing jobs to workers in foreign countries and may never get another job like them again. Sad. Terribly sad.

Two Indiana plants that make products for the heating, ventilating and air conditioning industry are shifting their manufacturing operations to Mexico, which will cost about 2,100 workers their jobs, company officials announced Wednesday.

Carrier is shuttering its manufacturing facility on Indianapolis' west side, eliminating about 1,400 jobs during the next three years.

United Technologies Electronic Controls announced Wednesday that it will move its Huntington manufacturing operations to a new plant in Mexico, costing the northeastern Indiana city 700 jobs by 2018. Those workers make microprocessor-based controls for the HVAC and refrigeration industries.

Wall alone will cost $25 bilion just to build. We could take it out of their half billion foreign aid, but that's US paying for it, not Mexico. The cost to provide manned security for the thousands of miles could be billions annually. Pipe dream.

Probably through Executive Order very much like Obama. I'd imagine Trump will attempt to work with Congress but won't be stonewalled by them for very long.

Congress has already authorized the construction of the wall, and if you think us not building the wall is going to reduce the manpower needed to guard a non wall, then you havent thought things through very well.

All wall would REDUCE the cost of managing the border, not increase it

There is a reason the White House, military bases, etc have gates..

Guess the US could operate the courts 24/7, appoint tens of thousands of new judges and draft every one who passes their state bar exa for representation. . No shortage of empty former big box stores. Guess government could lease the space and turn them into courts. Rehab would be costly.

Then there's that pesky problem of what to do with those pending trial. No room in the jails. Maybe ankle monitors for all outsource monitoring to a most favored company.

Yeah, that will work.

All candidates make campaign promises they will not keep. We the people continue to believe this time will be different.
Most won't bother with sticking around for their court date, so it's not an issue. Many will start making accommodations to repatriate long before enforcement starts up to avoid the inevitable. Once E-verify is mandated nationwide, and employment sources start drying up, there will be no reason for them to stay. They will self-deport, and the wall will make it a lot harder for those existing in the shadows from coming and going. It's really not difficult, the status quo just likes to make it seem that way. We could have AND should have been doing this for decades.

Ya know, George W. Bush doesn't get enough credit for the Great Recession . . . masquerading as a self-deportation ploy. Brilliant.

If you were Mexico negotiating that trade agreement, would you agree to pay for the wall? What would the US have to give you to get you to agree to it?

Let's say he doesn't. 99.9% of them don't want Trump anyway. Now what?

That's what I keep telling my son. IF they truly want a revolution - they need to start at the local levels and work their way up.

Plus - what makes anyone think Trump wants to end free trade? How many times does he have to tell you that he's a free trader?
