The comments between phma and myself were made with humor (did you fail to see this -> in my post?)

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, er, rants..

People may not agree with him but at least try to understand what it means to be a Christian as per the Pope's view toward humanity.

Yes, yes, we get that the Pope was speaking in a metaphor regarding the bridges.

He was not speaking in a metaphor when he derided the US for refusing to take in Muslim refuges that can't be vetted. He derides the US over that when he won't even take them in at the Vatican City .

If they are Americans and live here they can speak......Pope is not from this country....he doesn't understand our Constitution, laws and culture.

POPE is from Argentina that lives in a bubble in the Vatican, out of touch from reality.

But the point is that many more women go to PP for mundane day-to-day thing like OBGYN, STD testing, prescription contraceptives, so on and so on.

What is the problem with an organization performing services that are legal and constitutionally protected as per the SCOTUS? Go change the law or overturn Roe v. Wade if folks don't like it.

Why do women need special clinics for their health that use taxpayer money? Why don't men get those clinics, too? Or children? Or old people?

Exactly.

I increasingly think that these Judaism-based religions (Judaism, Christianity and Islam) are more trouble to the West than they are worth.

It's too bad that religion in Europe and the U.S had to be imported from the Middle East.

It's not just for women. Men, teens and older people benefit from it too. Abortion is only a small part of what PP does.

Aside from abortion, here is a listing of other services they offer from their website
https://www.plannedparenthood.org/

Men..
Checkups for Reproductive or Sexual Health Problems
Colon, Prostate, and Testicular Cancer Screenings
Condoms and Vasectomy
Erectile Dysfunction and Premature Ejaculation Services, Including Education, Exams, Treatment, and Referral
General Health Care and Routine Physical Exams
Jock Itch Exam and Treatment
Male Infertility Screening and Referral
STD Testing and Treatment
Urinary Tract Infections Testing and Treatment

Women..
Cervical Cancer
Breast Cancer Screenings
Endometriosis
Pap Tests & HPV Tests
Procedures to Prevent Cervical Cancer
Female Infertility
Menopause
Menstruation
Ovarian Cancer
Pelvic Exam
Urinary Tract Infection (UTI)
Yeast Infection & Vaginitis

Teens..
My Body
Birth Control, STDs, and Pregnancy
Quizzes and Games
Sex
Dating, Friends, and Family
LGBTQ

Parents..
Parent-Teen Relationships
Talking to Kids About Sex and Sexuality
Keeping Teens Healthy by Setting Boundaries
Helping Teens Delay Having Sex
Parenting Teens Who May Be Sexually Active
Puberty 101 for Parents
Parenting LGBT and Questioning Kids
Resources for Parents
Sex, the Internet, and Texting

They even offer services for educators, such as for sex education in the schools, etc.

When Trump said he supported PP he meant that he supports the education and preventative care that PP offers, he is completely against their abortion practices and wants it stopped.

I dunno. I'm just an old fashioned guy who goes to the doctor when I need anything related to medical help.

If I were poor, I'd be on Medicaid, and I'd be able to go to the doctor basically for free.

So this PP stuff...einh!

Anyway, the rolly popoli is ever so holy, and so is pp which ain't about p-arenthood.

Or something like that.

Socialism is not Christian.
I'll tell you what is Christian is being a working Christian, meaning pulling together and working together as a team....instead of playing follow the leader....Human beings have this terrible habbit of putting other human beings up there on some pedistol, proclaiming that person will save us....the only person that can save us, is everyone pulling together....
If you live in a community which infestes itself with people living off of others, there is no incentive to be a working part of the community....all the others giving them substance are only enforcing them to be lazy....

But when you have a community that works together, you have something very valuable....

The Pope is nothing, nothing but a human being, and why people put him up there on some almight pedistal is beyond me....."Thou shall have no other God's before me".

Who is elected by other human beings, not appointed by a diety reaching down from the heavens to say "YOU THERE, YES YOU, you are now the head of my church and speak for ME"!

If the pope really was the big kahuna wouldn't it be written on a tablet or wouldn't there be at the very least a burning bush or two?

You want to talk about the US Constitution. Ok, what about this part:
Quote:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or the free exercise thereof.
Meanwhile all the Trumplets who claim the love the Constitution are supporting registries of Muslims in direct violation of the Constitution.

Talking Trump blasts the Pope and says he's conspiring with Mexico

Pope Francis: "Those who build walls can't call themselves Christians."

Trump: "The Pope lives behind walls in the Vatican."

Point: Trump

I'm STILL waiting for Trump to crash and burn. IF the dude's gonna do it, it better be SOON. Other wise he WILL win not only the Repub nomination, he might just knock off the Dem winner this year.
