"Ben Carson, Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio will gather in Greenville for Wednesday night's prime-time broadcast.

On Thursday, Donald Trump, Jeb Bush and John Kasich will appear in Columbia."

CNN announces back-to-back GOP town halls - CNNPolitics.com

They come on individually, I think. How do you think they decided who goes on which night?

I think they decided based on Saturday night's clashes. Cruz v. Rubio and Trump v. Bush. As for where to insert Kasich and Carson, I don't think it makes much difference. Kasich did try to sell himself as the "positive" choice in contrast to Trump's passion and anger, so maybe that's why. Plus with Bush and Kasich together you get governor vs. governor.

I predict very low ratings for Gloria Vanderbilt's son except when Trump is on there.

If they all appear on stage at the same time I have a feeling John Kasich might as well stay home. That always applies to Carson.

maybe they based it on the fighting from Sat. night, who knows but it would be pretty interesting to watch.

Is that an exaltation of Trump, or swipe at Cooper? His moderation of the first Democratic debate has far and away been the best thus. I'm curious to see how much he fact checks in a one-on-one setting. And in regards to Trump, do you think Cooper will press him for some policy specifics because for all of his posturing and talking, he's said very little of substance.

These town halls are much more interesting than the debates. There are no moderators pitting the candidates against each other like snarling dogs. It's a more relaxed, more interesting atmosphere.

I don't think they do. I think each candidate goes one at a time but the Democrats here should know since Cooper did one recently with them.

It can be, but too often the questions from the audiences are a set up; hand picked.

Yeah just like you predicted low ratings when Trump skipped the debate and you were wrong.

If at first you don't succeed try, try again. Miau.
