jebbush.com was registered in 1997 by a domain speculator. It was never owned by Jeb or his campaign. Jeb ran for Governor in 1994 and won in 1998.
Indeed that shows how good Trump is. Everyone who is nowadays an athlete, musician, actor/actress, politician, etc. should be aware of social media, internet options, websites, etc.
If Jeb never owned he should have someone on his behalf check how to get it back and be aware when it opened up.

How the hell is it possible that Jeb!'s campaign let this slip? There is no excuse for this. Before a domain expires, there would have been several notices to the domain owner that says, 'Renew me now!!" So they just ignored them? WTF?! You've got to be kidding me. How did this guy get elected to a governorship?

How smart can one candidate be to buy the name of another candidate when that candidate is not too business smart and letting his web domain name expire so someone else can buy it.

I used to run a website some years ago, and we knew to buy every .com, .net, .org so that no one else could use it. All sites redirected to the main site. It's not that difficult, and it shows that Jeb! doesn't pay attention to details.

I can assure you that if Ted Cruz' campaign registered donaldjohntrump.com and redirected it to tedcruz.org, then Mr. Trump, his campaign and his fans would be shooting out lumpy blood from their nether regions. It is intellectually dishonest to claim otherwise.
Jeb doesn't have all the tech savvy young workers that Trump has. So I can see how this happened. Not the worst mistake of the campaign, but not good either.
