Yep, I could see that happening too.

I like Rubio... he's a smart guy... but he's also an Establishment mule. I really wanted pretend he isn't... but sadly he is.

No.

Conventional wisdom says hells yes, Rubio is GOP's best bet. But I am not so sure . . . Mr. Trump can break all the rules this year and he has certain cross-over appeal. Cruz and Carson would be the worst. Kasich should do okay.

Just look at the NC general election polls released today. Trump loses to Hillary -6 and gets crushed by Sanders -8. Rubio beats both Hillary and Sanders +3. This is a state where Trump holds a double digit lead in the primary polls too...

New poll out today has Hillary beating both Trump and Cruz +5 in MI but yet again, Rubio beats her +2. Poll after poll has Trump and Cruz losing to Hillary but Rubio beating her. As much as I dont really like Rubio, it would sure be better than 4 years of Hillary....

Rubio is currently destroying his political future with these asinine attempts to attack D. Trump. He sounds like an complete idiot when it talks about Trump's hands, or that claiming he is wetting himself on stage. Had he lost with dignity, he could have lived to fight another day, as it stands now, I think his political career is ending...especially if he is as hated as it seems he is in his home state of Florida. No way the Republican voters will unify around him now, regardless of what the polls may say.

Looking at the averages, Clinton still holds a +3.4 over Trump and Sanders a whopping +7 points. Cruz fares better against Clinton, he still holds a +.04 lead but trails Sanders +2.7. Rubio however holds a +4.6 lead over Clinton and a +2.0 lead over Sanders. Im no Rubio fan but I'll admit, I'll take him any day over Clinton or Sanders. Thoughts?

Dex, you show tenacity in your support for Rubio, but stop kidding yourself. The guy is way out of his league, which is very obvious every public appearance he makes. And so there's Cruz. Yes, he's much more intelligent, but how is a guy who is despised by his colleagues going to win the presidency? Highly unlikely. And then there's Trump who has proven you can fool enough Republican voters enough of the time to be the front runner. Can be really keep this con going all the way to the White House though? No, probably not. Looking more and more like Clinton, don't you think?

Rubio can't even make it through a Fox News interview without his voice cracking and showing fear in his eyes. There's no way he's going all the way.
