How will Trump make Mexico pay for the wall? (global warming, lobby, government)

So is the Trump plan to overcome the obstacles and build the entire wall within the four years of his presidency?
Congress approved 700 miles of it already along the most porous areas of our southern border and I hope that Trump sees that it is funded and built. That's all we need.
We need a wall when we have bridges on the verge of collapse? We need major infrastructure work but we insist on a wall? Makes sense to me....oh and when are the Repubs going to talk about issues other than immigration and the wall? How about some information about what insurance they will be looking at when they disassemble Obama care?

"The Wall" is to xenophobes what porn is to delusional men: It's useful for inspiring wet dreams, but has no basis in reality. Sorry, but it would be ridiculously expensive and impractical to wall off the entire southern border.
As is often the case with the fantasies of old white people, it's impossible to go back in time as much as some of you want to. Keep dreaming, but dreams aren't reality.

A remake of the Great Wall of China is not needed. Just a cordon off of the major smuggling routes. Note that part of the border is already walled.
While the desire for a wall may spring from xenophobic feelings there is little doubt of the need and it's importance to national security - try watching a few episodes of "Border Wars" on the Justice channel to see the kind of things happening on the border.
Stopping flow of people and drugs through the now porous border will have several beneficial effects - reduced illegal drugs on the streets - meaning less crime and drug abuse, reducing the violence against illegal immigrants by people smugglers and keeping ever increasing numbers of illegals from entering the US, which will slow the number of people even trying to cross the border.
Regardless of how you feel about amnesty for current illegals increased border security is in the national interest.
With so much opposition to the wall I am beginning to think a minefield would address all the issues. It is environmentally friendly, it is not an eyesore, does not impede animal migration, very little maintenance, no set back requirement and above all cheap and fast.
Place a 10% fee on the 25 billion dollars that Mexicans send back home every year. $2.5 billion collected each year. The cost of the wall is estimated to cost $10 billion. Four years of the fee will pay for the wall.

Good point. Long before that stupid wall could be built the world (infrastructure) as we know it will likely collapse.
