ahaha maybe Democrat architects said that...
the Chinese are able to build new citis of millions in a few years and USA cannot build a wall of prefab concrete??
gimme a break
Exactly. They build enormous islands and then put cities and airports on them. But for these simple minded folks a wall is impossible. The American education system is broken when you have imbeciles parroting mass media...
Architects have already said it's not possible to build or even afford the wall in our lifetime. He's still under this delusion that Mexico is going to even build the wall or have the budget to do so. The Mexican border is 2,000 miles and he wants to build a concrete wall over ten feet tall in the eight years. Lol
Lol...why build a wall when there is network of tunnels spanning though California, Arizona, Texas, and New Mexico. That's like putting a band aid on a open wound that requires stitches......to dumb it down for trump supporters, it's pointless.
There is no need to build a wall along all 2,000 miles of our southern border just complete the double layered wall on the 700 miles along the most porous areas of our southern border already approved by congress. It has been proven to work on areas where that type of wall already exists. Ever heard of tunnel sensors? It costs us $100 billion a year covering the social costs of illegal aliens and allowing them to continue to flood our borders the costs will just accelerate. It's not only so-called migrants coming here looking for work but criminals and terrorists also. What price do you want to put on our national security and well being financially?
The actual cost for the rest of the border wall (roughly 1,300 miles) could be as high as $16 million per mile, with a total price tag of $15 billion to $25 billion.
Remittances to Mexico are more than $25 Billion per year. A 10% tax on remittances would generate $2.5 billion/yr. Pays for the wall in 10 years.
To be honest, I'd rather see a 25% tax if not an outright prohibition on remittances. It is the number one thing driving illegal immigration. Illegals come over here to work to send money back to family. If they could not sent that money back many would not come.
We build thousands of miles of higher walls every year right next to freeways to deaden sound. As of February 10, 2012, the Department of Homeland Security had completed 651 miles of fencing out of nearly 652 miles mandated by Congress, including 299 miles of vehicle barriers and 352 miles of pedestrian fence.
So almost 1/3rd has already been built. Since 2007 more than 1M immigrants (nearly 10%) have moved back to Mexico, so it must be working.
I am no fan of Trump, but building the wall is not impossible and would be chump change compared to what we spend, especially on defense, which should include dafence!
We don't build thousands of miles of public walls in the middle of the dessert -- on land that belongs to private citizens.
John Oliver covered it in detail: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vU8dCYocuyI
This is written for morons who soak it all up as fact. You need about 1000 miles, the rest is natural barriers and electronic surveillance. Already your cost is cut. I can keep going but I already posted 857 times on it. I'm bored with the same lame ass BS.
People who spout this garbage are the same types who told Columbus he would sail off the end of the "flat" earth. The same, as someone else stated, that thought JFK was insane to land a man on the moon within 10 years if at all. The list goes on and on. Simple minded fools all of you, and even better that half of you claim to be "progressives" lol the irony.

Why don't you ask the private citizens that own the land and have a constant flood of illegals trespassing on their properties ?

The architects you're talking about must have taken online courses, and failed to get their degrees, since they are so ignorant about wall building. Also, no one is talking about making it 2000 miles long, it will only be about 1000 miles. To dumb it down for you, watch the video that I'm posting at the bottom of of this post.

Why build it in the middle of the desert? The desert is a natural barrier, most would be illegals know that they'd probably die from the extreme elements long before they get to the border.
Yeah, let's listen to some comedian from England about wall building. If he's so concerned about the illegals then why doesn't he offer to ship them to his home county and also offer to pay the over $100 billion a year to support them.
The United States has been implementing foreign policy--- both Democrat and Republican parties---through threats and coercion for the last 35 years and you've just decided to come onboard right now because you don't like Donald Trump?
