Are there any parents out there trying to talk their kid into voting for Bernie? (if so, what the heck happened there! Ha ha!)

Also Trump supporters, are you alone in this fight or is your whole family on board? Do your friends think you're crazy? Have you been "unfriended" on Facebook when you revealed you supported a future dictator??

Personally I tend to be a "moderate Republican"... my early 20's son is for Bernie and has been trying to get me to "feel the Bern"... "sure", I tell him... "I feel the Bern! Heartbrrn! Now hand me a Tums!"
We still love each other and haven't disowned each other... yet!
Ha! I was actually going to waste my time answering your question until I read the second highlighted sentence.

My husband and I are theatre people, so everyone we know is Bernie-thirsty.
Among family members, my sister's a Hillary person, and husbands' fam are probably Jeb! or Kascich people. I haven't asked them because I don't care.
Oh, and to more directly answer your question, neither of us have "suffered" any shunning or any other manifestation of lone-wolfism. We wouldn't be caught dead hanging with religious types, so there's that.

My communist family will vote democrat no matter who wins but my brother was a Hillary supporter until he took an online test that said his views aligned more with Bernie's. He had no idea who Sanders was at that point. He's very political and has deleted people on Facebook who support Trump or make racist comments against Obama. When Obama was reelected he and his friends insulted someone for calling Obama the "N" word and of course deleted that friend.

I know a Trump supporter who thinks he can convince us all that Trump is the second coming of Jesus. We just let him talk. He's the type of person who loves the sound of his own voice.

People I know, including family, either love or hate Trump.
Nobody I know has anything to say about Sanders, either way.

What you said about your brother is just so emblematic. This is America 2016: people who know nothing, and most don't even CARE that they know nothing. They just want somebody to tell them what to think, say and do.
We are doomed...lol

I'm a Bernie supporter. So is my girlfriend, my little brother, my mother, my aunt uncle and cousin, and many many if my friends. My dad is a Trump supporter. So are 2 of my police officer friends, and some racist kid I knew in high school who said we need to "carpet bomb the middle east and kill the punjabs" -_-

Maybe I would have not insulted them but I would have deleted them too. It was a very rude racist comment. I don't put up with racist BS either. Tolerating intolence is not tolerance.

That person had already proven they can't make an intelligent point. Skin color is obviously more important than policy to them. Why would I waste my time with them? Would you listen to crazy people in a mental asylum? I doubt it.

I am talking about the fact that your brother didn't even know who Bernie Sanders was, but then he took and online quiz, and BINGO! Now he knows who he wants. The quiz told him.
This is what you said.
