Because they are both the calmest in their respective debates. It would be much more interesting than a Trump-Clinton debate, which is pretty easy to imagine.

I'm not a fan of Sander's social program, but think he's the best speaker as far as content.
He's professorial and makes his points in a systematic, clear way.

Trump is an insult-machine, talks in segmented, word salad points - free association with no real forethought - really reactionary with superlatives about himself and what he thinks he can do.

Trump is my hero and our last hope. He may be our last chance to save this country - especially after Obama's full-on dismantling of everything that made America a first-world nation and super power.

Trump would wipe the floor with Bernie. I don't think it'd be that good a debate.

Me too.

Sanders is the most presidential candidate of them all.

Hillary is very knowledgeable about policy stuff and can hold her own in debates, too, but she has so much baggage . . . . I don't know if she'd be rattled if Mr. Trump throws his attacks, especially the stuff about Bill.

In fact, I would love to see head-to-head debates before we select nominees from each side. Then we'd really be making an informed decision in the primaries!

I like Sanders as a person, but the guy sounds like Jackie Mason, and looks like Christopher Lloyd from Back to the Future. Admit it.

But if being honest, authentic, classy and smart means presidential, then yes he is the most presidential.

I'd like to see this.

Trump wouldn't be able to use the "he's completely controlled by his donors" line. Sanders is also a nice guy that people on both sides respect, so Trump would just seem bitter if he hurled insults.

It would be a unique debate that forces Trump to alter the strategy that has got him so far. This is why I think Sanders would actually be a tougher opponent for him than Hillary Clinton.

I watched part of his MSNBC last night and they looked like they put rouge and lipstick on him....it was a pretty pathetic picture. But content-wise, he doesn't come across with spouting the rhetoric you hear from all of the other candidates. Kind of refreshing - but his social ideas are too "out there" for me to support him.
