You people who get hung up on policies or even ideology are arguing the wrong election. In 2016, at least on the GOP side, those have become secondary. There are sooooooooooooooooooooooooo many Republicans who have just HAD IT with the scum GOP Establishment, and with Political Correctness. And they see 2016 as the chance to destroy both.
For me personally these days, I have only one thing to say to at least 90% of the political class (be they politicians, media, lobbyists, consultants, donors, campaign guys, staffers, etc). It's a two word expression and the first word starts with F.

It is going to be interesting, come November, to see if there are enough unhappy, angry people who want to burn down the house, to win an actual general election. When push comes to shove, it may be that most people want change, but aren't quite ready to blow up the entire system in the hope that something better may emerge. In which case, all the energetic ranting and raving will have just amounted to spitting in the wind.

Trump IS the Establishment! Trump IS the Media! Trump is just another politician, he's been running for various political offices since the 80s, he just never won.

Can you tell me what media holdings he has owned, and what offices he has run for.
Thank you.

Exactly. We are going to find out just how p*xxed off people really are. That will be the main question that gets answered.
(You seem to suggest that what is happening is a bad thing. The Whig Party was so sclerotic and corrupt that it had to be destroyed, too. I'm sure that seemed like a really bad and scary thing at the time too).

Media holdings: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Trump_Organization

Read his books, he talks about how he easily controls the media (and media consumers like you) through manipulation. Donald Trump Explained How To Dominate The Media: 'I Play To Peoples Fantasies'

Trump is The Media Trump Is a Master at Manipulating the Media - US News

He campaigned for governer all over the state of New York and then in the end refused to officially run unless unopposed. Look it up.

He has run for president multiple times. Donald Trump is a politician. And there is no such thing as an anti-establishment billionaire.

Trust me I agree with your sentiments about the government and the media. And because of those very convictions I could never support Trump.

Voted for the recent bloated unpaid for budget. How many do you need? (Bernie voted nay)

Yep, and the House accepting millions of dollars to pass the fast track deal. That was the beginning of the end for me.
