Republicans have 595 up for grabs tonight, Dems have over 1000. So even if Trump runs the table and gets literally 100% of them, he'd have fewer than Hillary is almost certain to end up with even if it's a 50/50 finish in every state with Bernie.
But of course it's completely irrelevant because they are operating on different number systems. Republicans have a total of 2472 and Democrats have 4765. It's not apples to oranges, it's apples to, I don't know, staplers or something!
Exactly! The number of delegates for each party candidate in the primary has nothing to do with the general. Each candidate must receive a certain number of delegates to WIN the PARTY NOMINATION. It has absolutely NOTHING to do with the GENERAL!
