If you identify yourself as a conservative or evangelical Christian and support Trump, how do you reconcile your beliefs with his lifestyle and stated beliefs?
He has been married 3 times.
He's made a ton of money off of casinos which feature gambling, drinking and prostitution.
He uses profanity.
He's not a church-goer.
He lies.
In the past he has declared himself to be pro-choice and only recently said he had a change of heart and became pro-life.
It seems like in the past, conservative or evangelical Christians didn't support candidates who did not at least pay lip service to traditional Christian beliefs. That does not seem to be a concern these days and I'm wondering why.
I'm a conservative, supporting Trump, based upon economics and pro capitalism.. I dont give a rats ass about the rest.. what people do with their own life is irrelevant, its how they want to subject their policies upon me/society that matter..

I get that. But I'm curious about those people who often ARE interested in how other people live their lives and make decisions based on that type of issue.
The failure of Trump's first marriage is his, true, but it was Marla Maples
who left him in the 2nd. Anyway, here's the mindset of a black pastor in
Harlem who supports Trump, assuming that you're interested in a valid
assessment, which is doubtful.

You kind of answered your own question with the bolded.
If I had to wait to cast a vote for someone who measured up to Christ standards of living, I'd never be able to vote. In other words, show me someone who claims to be perfect according to Christ's standards and I will show you a liar.
Also, God raises up imperfect people to be great leaders all through the Bible and throughout history. Imperfect people still have gifts of leadership that can be used and I see that in Trump in this day and time.

The pastor describes Trump as gracious and patient. Trump must be a different person in public than he is in public, because he's the opposite gracious and patient in public. Still, I appreciated what the pastor had to say.

I get what you're saying. But it seems that in the past, candidates' personal lives were scrutinized and if they weren't found to be up to the standards of a particular group, they were disparaged. It seems to me that Trump is the antithesis of what those on the religious right claim to stand for, but I think he's receiving widespread support from them.

Pastor Manning is the perfect guy to endorse Trump. He's a homophobic preacher who once claimed that "Jesus would stone homos." He's also a birther who held a "trial" of President Obama's legitimacy to be the president, and then walked around the block of his church afterwards in white robes carrying a shepherds staff yelling "GUILTY!! GUILTY!! GUILTY!!" afterwards. He's a homophobic nutcase whose church has just recently been seized and put up for auction due to unpaid debts.
Yep, a perfect fit for Donald Trump.
