The opinion was written before Trumps outburst.

The opinion follows precedent, nothing political. In fact the presumption was against Trump, his team failed to overcome the presumption.

Well, we don't know whether it was actually the judge or the law clerk(s) who wrote the opinion.

Cohen v. Trump :: California Southern District Court :: Federal Civil Lawsuit No. 3:13-cv-02519-GPC-WVG, Judge Gonzalo P. Curiel presiding

Cohen v Trump - Frequently Asked Questions

What are these lawsuits about?
Plaintiffs allege that Trump University and Trump violated federal law across the country and state law (in California, Florida, and New York) by promising, but not delivering access to Trump’s real estate techniques taught by “hand-picked” professors at an elite “university,” when in fact Trump was not substantively involved in the Live Events curriculum or selecting the instructors and the New York State Education Department had warned Trump it was unlawful to call it a “university.” Defendants deny the claims and deny wrongdoing.

What do the lawsuits complain about?
In both actions, Plaintiffs allege that Trump University and Trump uniformly marketed and misrepresented their Live Events as offering Trump’s real estate techniques taught by his “hand-picked” professors and adjunct professors at his elite “university.” Plaintiffs allege that these representations were false because Trump had no substantive involvement in the selection of the Live Events instructors or the content of the Live Events and that the New York State Education Department warned Trump not to use the “university” title or to continue operating without a license, but he defied those directives.

The Cohen (Nationwide) Action alleges that the above fraudulent scheme violates the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (“RICO”) and each member of the Class is entitled to triple the amount of their purchase price of Trump University Live Events.

Oh it was the law clerks. Most judges I know can't even type. It's kind of funny to watch them email.

Just more evidence that Trump is not fit to be president.

Nobody is ever doing their job if it affects Trump negatively. They have to be doing it to 'git' him.

He is the most paranoid egocentric candidate ever to have run for president. And if he has nothing to hide, why does he care if the documents are released?

Oh, right, maybe for the same reason he won't release his taxes. He has a lot to hide. He is much more dishonest than any of the other candidates he has been bashing for months.

“I have a judge who is a hater of Donald Trump, a hater. He’s a hater. His name is Gonzalo Curiel,” Mr. Trump said Friday, as the crowd of several thousand booed. “He is not doing the right thing. And I figure, what the hell? Why not talk about it for two minutes?”

Online political website Politico in March posted a 2010 Trump University playbook, which instructed employees to rank students by liquid assets to help determine what kind of course packages they could afford to buy.

A spokeswoman for the Trump campaign declined to comment..."
