And why did he get over 95% very satisfactory ratings from pupils suing him?
Something weird is going on because Trump U. guy stated publicly that "thousands" of partial refunds were issued and "hundreds" of full refunds were made (amusingly, he said that to defend Trump U. as if that's a good thing). There were only like 10,000 students in all. In light of that, how could they have a 98% satisfaction rate? It makes no sense.

In his deposition Trump acknowledged that 25% of students asked for a refund.
Just curious. Did they think by going to Trump's seminars, they would become overnight real estate geniuses without lifting a finger? What was supposed to happen?

Students expected that they would get what they paid for - Trump’s real estate techniques taught by his “hand-picked†professors. In deposition Trump admits that he never met the teachers and had no role in picking them. Most teachers had no real estate experience and were hired through an agency that specialized in high powered sales people. This is the crux of the lawsuit and in deposition Trump has conceded these facts.
The "95% very satisfactory ratings" doesn't hold up when you consider that 25% of students asked for refunds.
The satisfaction surveys were also taken part way through the courses when students were still on the hook and gullible. Students were also promised a lifetime mentor and negative reviews would have worked against that. It turns out however that the mentors got their commissions up front and had no desire or incentive to keep up relationships.
Politico says Trump wants all muslims to wear arm bands, and within the first 100 days in office he will nuke Europe. These reporters are full of it. No way all these people got refunds.
Libs are mad because a bunch of idiot libs looking for success with no work are the ones who enrolled.
