You're right - no one ever said he was an illegal. I don't know why you suddenly accuse me of doing it.
The judge could be for education and smart-students instead of illegals. Do you have any proof that he is?
.
I suppose you must be correct. There just aren't any American citizens of any age, race, or ethnicity that might be in need of a scholarship so they can attend higher education.
In my view, there is no way this guy can be an impartial judge to trump given the words/actions we've seen. My prediction is the defense will motion to have a new judge if/when this thing goes to trial. And I'm guessing they will be successful.
I'd love to see that. "The defense moves for a judge of an ethnicity the defendant hasn't insulted" would be fairly innovative, legally speaking.
Mistranslating “La Raza” to mean “the race” implies that it is a term meant to exclude others. In fact, the full term coined by Vasconcelos, “La Raza Cósmica,” meaning the “cosmic people,” was developed to reflect not purity but the mixture inherent in the Hispanic people. This is an inclusive concept, meaning that Hispanics share with all other peoples of the world a common heritage and destiny.
And this is not just SDLRLA’s interpretation. According to the American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language, “La Raza” means:
“…Mexicans or Mexican Americans considered as a group, sometimes extending to all Spanish-speaking people of the Americas.”
Furthermore, MSNBC’s online Spanish-English website, Encarta, translates the term this way: “Hispanic Spanish-speakers in the Americas: Mexicans, Mexican Americans, or Spanish-speaking people of the Americas, considered as a group.”
The Free Dictionary, available online, similarly finds that the term “La Raza”: “…embodies the notion that traditional, exclusive concepts of race and nationality can be transcended in the name of humanity’s common destiny.”
Specifically, the goals of SDLRLA are:
• Increase the overall number of Latinos in the legal profession.
• Encourage and support Latino and Latina judicial candidates to apply to the bench
• Advocate for the promotion and retention of Latino and Latina attorneys and judicial officers.
• Improve the professional skills of our members through our certified MCLE programs.
• Provide for the professional and social interaction among our members and other organized bar associations.
• Improve the delivery and access of legal services to the county’s Spanish speaking community.
• Provide role models and mentoring to Latino youth through direct interaction with students and school districts.
• Strongly advocate positions on judicial, economic and social issues to political leaders and state and local bar associations that impact the Latino community.
Then why do they call themselves The Race? How is translating it inaccurate? La Raza means The Race. There is no other translation but nice try on your part. This judge is without a doubt a pro amnesty, pro illegal alien advocate whether or not his attorney's group is officially part of the La Raza national organization or not. It's plain as day.
Can you provide information that he has written about his political positions? Or, any information about the political positions of the professional lawyer group he's a member of? If you can't then your opinion is just an opinion, and you are making an incorrect assumption about his politics for sure. Or, you are just deliberately making incorrect statements which you hope others will accept as the truth. It doesn't seem to be working, tho.

So you'd agree that American Express and the American Civil Liberties Union are the same? I mean, they both have "American" in their name.
So you feel a judge, who is suppose to uphold the law, and the sources above indicate, with documentation, that he was part of giving illegal alien(s) scholarships was not doing anything "outside the law"?
Your 'evidence' is a piece of fringe foaming at the mouth yellow-dog 'journalism. But, not the mainstream journalism that trump hates, since it is biased towards him, right? The headline is misleading, as it is not at all clear that the judge "hates" trump, or that he actually awarded the scholarships, and he is not a member of THAT "La Raza" organization.
And your other 'evidence' is just more of the same. Not factual, actual lies and innuendo. How appropriate, just what trump says the media do!

If you went to NC State and paid tuition for biology classes, only to learn that the professor was in fact a former jewelry salesman with no expertise in biology, then you could most certainly sue. Which is essentially what happened at Trump Bait-and-Switch U.
It's really not that complicated.

Well that's what the Attorney General of New York contends in the lawsuit People v Trump University, to quote:
"operated an unlicensed, illegal education institution from 2005 through 2011, intentionally misleading over 5000 students nationwide, ..into paying as much as $35,000 each to participate in live seminars and mentorship programs with the promise of learning Donald Trump's real estate investing techniques. The patterns of deceptions included false advertisements.., bait and switch tactics, and other misrepresentations and fraudulent practice."
