Actually, that sounds like most universities and colleges nowadays....

This is the crux of the lawsuit and in deposition Trump has conceded these facts.

The "95% very satisfactory ratings" doesn't hold up when you consider that 25% of students asked for refunds.

The satisfaction surveys were also taken part way through the courses when students were still on the hook and gullible. Students were also promised a lifetime mentor and negative reviews would have worked against that. It turns out however that the mentors got their commissions up front and had no desire or incentive to keep up relationships.

Complain to the Department of Education.

Schools like this have been approved by the federal government to qualify for student loans for their students for decades.

Story after story in the newspapers about these scams -- and even more stories on the internet -- and the suckers keep falling for these schools.

A lot of people, frankly, just go to get the loan and spend it on other things.

You can go to a community college and study real estate very cheaply.

Trump offered seminars, and students who chose to keep taking them and paying more each time -- and then giving their instructors rave reviews -- have only themselves to blame if their "Get rich quick" dreams didn't come true. As for the ones who were too naive or uninformed, the government is also to blame for the reasons I have given.

You need a lot of money to make money in real estate. Some of these students were broke. Who puts 30 grand on a credit card? Anyone with a clue pays their card in full every month. I mean, this is a joke right?
It is.

That sounds like Obama. "I'm voting for him because he'll pay for my food and rent!"

Yeah! I've listened to Trump speak, and I'm not rich! Waaaah!

Ripoff Report | Trump University Complaint Review New York City, New York: 429148

This was also an interesting article:

http://finance.yahoo.com/news/trump-...190447744.html#

In said link the author says:

"Trump claims 98% of the people who filled out student evaluations said they were satisfied with Trump University. But that too might be fishy. The 98% rating is based on roughly 10,000 completed surveys. Yet court documents reveal this breakdown of attendees at Trump University over the years: 80,308 showed up at a free event, 9,208 attended a three-day workshop and only 794 purchased one of the costlier custom programs. So it’s possible most or even all of those 10,000 evaluations were completed by people who only attended the free program and never paid a dime to Trump University. We certainly don’t know how satisfied the 794 folks who paid top dollar feel (except for those participating in the class action lawsuit)."
So we're talking about 798 people who had plenty of opportunities to test the waters -- free event and a three-day workshop.

Somebody call 911!

Universities and colleges lie all the time. Usually by omission.

They all promise caring faculty, personal attention, and preparation for a career.

That's a laugh.

The "caring faculty" turn out to be graduate student teaching assistants, the "personal attention" turns out to be lecture halls with 300 students, and the "preparation for a career" turns out to be going back home to live in mommy's basement.

Let's take, for example, a major in music at any given college or university. They'll say, "Graduates of our program have careers as performers, teachers and music industry professionals."

Sure thing.

There is only room for about 500 classical music soloists at any given time who can actually make a living as performers -- world-wide

Same with jazz and popular music groups.

Symphony orchestras typically get 300 applicants for each open seat.

Private music teachers? They're like rabbits. Anyone who has studied an instrument for a few years is qualified to teach beginners. So there are way too many teachers chasing way too few students.

College music professors and instructors? Sorry, that boat is perpetually full.

If the college were honest, it would say that studying music enriches your life and is a good concentration for a liberal arts major. But don't expect it to lead to a career.

Isn't there a "college" overseas that was started by Bill Clinton and has thousands of complaints?

That's what I hear.

But oddly enough, the lying lib media isn't talking about it.

But let us attack the ethnic pride of a Latino judge (born in Indiana) to deflect from Trump's responsibility to Americans as a candidate for the highest office in the USA. The public is wise to him now and expects straight answers.

I strongly encourage people to consider Gary Johnson, the Libertarian candidate, as Hilary also has negative factors (email-gate, Benghazi). This may be our best chance to send a strong message to the two major parties that have become too corrupt and ineffective.

Should ethnic pride include aiding and abetting illegal aliens of one's own ethnic group?

It gets better.

"The law firm suing Trump University was founded by a wealthy San Diego lawyer with close ties to the Clintons who served a two-year sentence in federal prison for his role in a kickback scheme to mobilize plaintiffs for class-action lawsuits. William Lerach, best known for winning more than $7 billion in legal settlements of a class action suit he brought against Enron, was found guilty in 2007 of a kickback scheme in which he his firm used intermediaries to pay clients with large stock portfolios a percentage of the law firm’s $11.3 million profits for agreeing to be plaintiffs in 225 class action and shareholder lawsuits, spanning the period 1979 to 2005. WND reported documents released Wednesday in the lawsuit accusing Trump University of fraud confirmed the law firm behind the suit paid Bill and Hillary Clinton a total of $675,000 for speeches."
