Okay, even though endorsements don't sway me, that's still a rather nice one to have. I remember the last trial of the pond scum who killed his bother.

Interesting how after Trump gets slammed for David Duke endorsing him, that less than a week later a Civil Rights activist steps up and endorses him.

Things that make you go hmmm....

And he'll get no publicity about it either...because it might be received as a positive.

Great song for Trump's campaign.

I am positive that Trump will make as much use out of this endorsement as possible. You will hear about it in his next upcoming rally speeches and on any Fox, CNN, MSNBC, etc., appearances he makes in the next week or two!

..and why should he get a lot of publicity? Because he's Black?

Charles Evers was Mayor of Fayette, Mississippi from 1985-1989. Be honest. How many posters here have ever heard of Fayette Mississippi? Raise your hands. The population of this town is around 1,600.

First of all, he's a Republican, so I don't see why it's so surprising. Republicans usually endorse other Republicans. He also endorsed Ronald Reagan. Second, he is 93 years old and might have already lost his mind.

Seriously, why does everything have to be about race? If he weren't related to Medgar Evers, the name would mean very little to most people who have read this story.

Why not? The media and anti-Trumpers made as much use out the David Duke endorsement as possible. You all heard about it all over the place including Fox, CNN, MSNBC, etc.

What's the matter? Does it physically pain you to hear something positive about Trump?

from the article:

He said Trump was a "fair" businessman who respects merit over race.

Apparently he isn't familiar with the 1973 lawsuit the DOJ brought against Trump for using codes to keep Black applicants from moving into his properties in certain neighborhoods.

As I was typing this, I heard about this endorsement while listening to MSNBC and there were no negative comments, just that the first African-American Mayor of Mississippi who is the brother of slain Civil Rights activist, Medgar Evers endorsed Donald Trump and said he will be good for jobs.

Well, there is this endorsement, and the fact that Trump is getting more minority votes than any other Republican in decades, so much for Trump being a racist.

I said it before, and I'll say it again, nobody really believes that Trump is a racist. You guys can stop pretending now, nobody is buying it.
