When did Obama ever advocate punching someone or roughing anyone up at one of his rallies? Get over yourself. Drumpf is the only presidential candidate in history who has advocated violence against protesters at his rallies. It is SICK. Most conservatives and almost all liberals, and the rest of the world, see Drumpf for what he is. Keep on licking his boots and see where it gets you.
High drama aside, this was not an "attempted assassination."
It appeared that someone grabbed his pant leg or may have tossed something from behind. Whatever happened, the Secret Service response was fast, as it should be.
They are special agents of the Treasury Department. The term "cops", once a dis-respectful term, is traditionally reserved for members of a police/sheriff department. Trump obviously wants to lump special agents in with city police, his own guards, possibly the people who keep order at the food court, and anyone else who has to protect a guy who goes out of his way to incite and inflame people at his rallies.
Maybe he'll start calling members of our armed forces cops. That's about his level.

I believe in violence to protect that right. That's why we have it and got it in the first place
