Agreed.

If he comes up against Hillary in a Presidential debate it's going to be brutal. He needs all the practice he can get. The focus is getting sharper with fewer candidates and ducking debates doesn't help his credibility in terms of his ability to deliver substance over soundbites.

In the last debate they asked him about this one and he stated then, he hadn't heard anything about it.
This morning on the news, he stated again he had not been told about it and that he won't be going because he had a prior commitment.
He is giving a speech somewhere. If he said where, I missed it.

On one hand some of you do have a good point. With Rubio being out this might be a good time for him to collect his voters.
On the other hand there have already been numerous debates that have been very much the same dialogue over and over, so what's the point.

Well, for one thing the public has a right and need to see how candidates handle themselves under pressure. Rally speeches and interviews aren't the same kind of pressure as debates.

It would be good to see Kasich take on Cruz. He would have no other alternative if he wants to get to second place.

Or they will spend the whole 2 hours bashing Trump.

I think there are too many debates.

FOX has a debate and invites someone who has won one state to join? Sorry folks but even this morning they called Kasich as "being on a roll". Last I checked one does not constitute a roll.

He's rolling on to the convention, which makes him the worst character of everyone running. His only way to win is to steal it from the frontrunner due to dirty political rules and he's absolutely giddy about it.

At least lyin' Ted wants to win fair and square.

We already know how Trump reacts under pressure. He starts yelling, he gets a deeper shade of orange and he breaks into flop sweat. He'll duck and dodge debates as much as possible from here on. There are fewer candidates which means more time for asking him questions. Too much of a chance for flop sweat.

You can't decide if you want the wall in the first place or arguing that it cant be done. These are two different things. Which one is it?

I think a wall is a stupid idea, both because the cost would be astronomical and because it would be a nightmare to both build and maintain. It probably could be done theoretically, but we have infrastructure that is literally crumbling all over the country, and you would rather spend billions upon billions of dollars on a structure that would take years to complete, require more billions to maintain, and would be not nearly as effective as cracking down on employers who hire illegals. Doing so would accomplish the same thing at a fraction of the cost, but would be wildly unpopular with the business community, so Trump won't go there.

And it wouldn't be as grand a gesture as a great big Trump wall, which is what keeps the rubes all excited and in his corner.
