Nice spin. What he said was that there "may" be riots. What he said was that he is NOT trying to "lead it", he's merely pointing out what "the people" are saying. If the GOP still doesn't want to listen, then hell with the GOP.

Very true looks like the votes only have meaning when they reaffirm the establishments candidate. Jon Huntsmans complaint in the last election was the backing that Romney received from the party and the Pacs in the last election.

Trump is different, is their displeasue that he can't win or that he isn't their guy. If he isn't the candidate at the end I see him going it on his own.

There's an irony here. You're trying to put down Conservatives as being dumb and yet didn't realize we're talking about the GOP nominee and not the SCOTUS nominee as you're obviously referencing in your remarks.

You're right. I thought it was about the SCOTUS nominee. Weird how we haven't seen any posts about that today...

Yes, there's another thread on it. Quite a bit of activity this morning but has dropped off in favor of even more Trump threads I guess.

Most recent presidents haven't been part of the "DC establishment."

Gerald Ford (Senate)
Jimmy Carter, Governor of Georgia;
Reagan, Governor of California;
George H.W. Bush
Bill Clinton, Governor of Arkansas;
George W. Bush, Governor of Texas;
Obama (senate)

But one thing is unique to them all, they had been elected to political office.
