And being incredulous at another's incompetence is called being human.
She did not make a career out of defending criminals. As a lawyer, she worked on contracts and trusts, primarily. However, lawyers are routinely asked to donate their time to defend clients, and often have no choice about whom they defend. I'm sure that this was not a client that she would have chosen.
I know, I know DC. I know. The river of denial is indeed a long one.
It's gotta be rough being a Democrat this year. Looks at your options. One, a particularly vile, corrupt, incompetent old fool. One with a lifetime of disdain and contempt for the American people. One who, when asked about Americans that were slaughtered under her watch first lied to the American people repeatedly, then says "What difference does it make anyway? How would you like to be a family member of one of the Benghazi victims and hear this hate coming from a presidential candidate?
Or perhaps worse, a self avowed socialist. One with a history of supporting the Soviet Union when they were mortal enemies of the United States. One that has never worked an actual, productive job in his adult life. That never lays out an actual plan, but promises more free crap than Santa Claus, and who can only screech "Tax the Rich, Tax the Rich". One who, as an adult with an upper middle class income has a credit card debt of some $65k. One who has never worked in a private business, but condemns them as evil.
The Republican party isn't exactly a shining example, given Trump and Bush as examples. But they have (and had more) candidates with solid credentials, a lifetime of success and progress and the ability to actually work with others. Heck, even Trump is far better than the remaining Dem choices. The only Dem candidate that actually came across as reasonable and intelligent, and didn't fight the others as to who could promise the most free crap was Jim Webb...and the party tossed him as soon as he showed up and actually looked like a leader.
Democrats choices my be lousy, but it's a much better choice than what the Republicans have to offer!
... and I guess american people would be the real winner.. we end up with somebody lousy either way.
