I cannot believe they are playing up Crazy Cruz again. The man has no chance of winning and a vote for Cruz is nothing more than a vote against Trump and the GOP since he is incapable of winning in the General Election against either Hillary or Sanders.

It has been said and said yet some people just don't get it:

Let’s Be Serious About Ted Cruz From The Start: He’s Too Extreme And Too Disliked To Win | FiveThirtyEight

The Ted Cruz pile on: GOP senators warn of revolt - CNNPolitics.com

Cruz CAN'T And WON'T Win The General Election And Here's WHY!

So, the reality is that a vote for Cruz is a for sure vote for Hillary. Since the Dems are as corrupt as the GOP, I don't see a path for Sanders.

One has to decide whether they want to waste their vote on Cruz or not.

Keep in mind that he wants to move the US to a Christian theocracy. The group that he belongs to believe that gays should be killed and that they will be called on to do it. It is called scapegoating. They believe that the currents problems are due to the decision by the SC on SSM. The problem with these types of people is that they continue to scapegoat and either take out or severely limit the freedoms of those that they blame for the problems until they are the only ones left and then they slowly "eat their own". Please understand what Ted Cruz stands for before casting a vote for him. "Google" is your best friend not just 1 or 2 media outlets. Also, with "google" go about 10 pages in to get the best "grasp".

Cruz wants to take our religious freedom away unless we belong to the cult that he is a part of. The man is crazy and very dangerous.

10 Reasons Why Ted Cruz is the Most Dangerous (and Craziest) Republican Candidate

Scary! Ted Cruz Represents a Religious Cult More Dangerous than Islam > Wake the Church

You can never get too much information about a candidate.

I know you don't get why, but that is precisely the reason some people will choose to vote for Cruz. Or Hillary in the general election. There is an ABT (anybody but Trump) contingency among the voters.

I quite agree, the only reason a sane person would vote for Cruz is as a protest vote against Trump. And as reasons go, it's not a bad one.

I do feel sorry for all of the sane Republicans like Oldhag who have realized their choice has come down to choosing between awful and terrible. It's truly hard to know which of them is worse.

My parents are evangelical traditional values voters. Morals and religion are paramount to them and they'll support candidates who (at least superficially) reflect their values. They are completely and utterly repulsed by Trump and consider him a morally bankrupt and vulgar person who has no business leading the country and discussed possibly supporting Cruz. I sent them a few links on Cruz's infamous reputation in Washington, his Christian Dominionist background, and links to Wall Street, and they have decided to sit out the election should he or Trump get the nomination.

That's how bad of a candidate Cruz is. The GOP is so far down the tubes that even their evangelical candidate is repulsive to evangelical voters.

I am voting FOR Cruz. It is not a vote AGAINST Trump. If Trump were to win the nomination and he was against Hillary, and I purposely voted for Hillary, THAT would be a vote AGAINST Trump.

Huh?? Trump & the GOP?? The GOP DOESN'T want Trump!!!

A better title: A vote for Cruz is a Vote for the GOP Against Trump.
