You're right Dexter.

Trump is actually losing in Tennessee and Louisiana now - even though the voters chose him in those states.

After setting up the delegates so Trump or Cruz will not get 1237 on first three ballots. They will hand the nomination to Nikki Haley. That's the plan.

The GOP stands for limited government.

The problem is, they are saying the voters are making a big mistake by trying to elect Trump or Cruz.

The GOP knows what's best for the voters they are saying. Nikki Haley is best for us because the voters are wrong this year. Look for Rubio or Kasich to be vice president. Outside shot Paul Ryan gets it.

It's comforting to know the GOP has our back.

If they say we chose the wrong 2 candidates, they must be right. Heck - the government always knows what's best.

Bye

Most the "Republicans" voting for Trump are RINO, closet liberals anyways. The more of them who leave, the better.

I think Trump will run as independent and do well. He can win only if he gets on all the ballots - which won't be easy.

Yes sir. That's what they're saying and the betting markets are backing it up. Haley/Rubio.

In a brokered convention, odds are better for Michael Bloomberg than Ted Cruz. Rules are rules.

Interesting article, along the same lines as Nate Silver's It's probably first ballot or bust for Donald Trump at the GOP Convention:
Quote:
If Trump doesn’t win on the first ballot, he’s probably screwed.
The basic reason is simple. Most of the 2,472 delegates with a vote in Cleveland probably aren’t going to like Trump.
Trump is increasingly having to face the reality that he stands a great chance of losing the nomination if he enters the convention with anything less than a clear majority of delegates. I think it's beginning to dawn on him that they won't change the rules just to prevent his followers from throwing a hissy fit.

He knows. Cruz is the one that's in for a suprise. Ted Cruz has 0 chance in a contested convention. Those delegates are going to run to Nikki Haley the first chance they get.

People don't realize delegates = establishment.

Good chance Trump gets 1237 in June anyway.

But in a contested convention Cruz is a bigger Longshot than Jeb Bush or Michael Bloomberg.

Agree with Dexter. Haley??? If the GOP leadership does that, then I will KNOW that they stand to make a lot of money under a Clinton presidency. That would be the ONLY explanation for that lunacy.
