Most people don't know how dangerous Ted Cruz really is. They see him as a well spoken, intelligent man who holds conservative values. How can anybody view him as a true conservative. To conserve is to save.

He has embraced RELIGION as his oath of office instead of the US Constitution.

The GOP establishment knows it, but are still willing to support him over Trump AT THIS TIME. Their support for him is luke warm at best, but necessary to their end game, which is to keep the GOP from completely disintegrating.

How pathetic is it that they see Cruz as their 'savior'....call out the obituary writers.

I've said many times here that Ted Cruz is a religious fundamentalist who wants to shove Gays & Lesbians back into the closet and put women barefoot and pregnant back into the kitchen.

This is only more proof of that. Anyone thinks otherwise, isn't paying attention.

In other words, I agreed with your post...Cruz is way, way, way scarier than Trump, and who ever thought that would be possible?

Thanks for acknowledging the best candidate. ... But why then throw him under the bus with a false label?

It's like you want to vote for him, but you can't get past the label...

Sanders calls himself a "democratic socialist", and probably regrets taking on that label. Fact is, nothing in his policies is incompatible with the democratic system.

The happiest nations on earth are Denmark, Switzerland, Iceland, Norway and Finland .... If you want to argue that Sanders is a communist, all these happy nations are communist too.

(World's happiest countries named - CNN.com)

...And the most miserable nations on earth? Many have no government, no gun control, no social safety net, no human rights and religious nutcases everywhere you turn... ie. the "conservative" agenda in a nutshell. ...Something to keep in mind.

You also need to know that our system right now is part "socialist". The difference between socialism vs. capitalist systems is a dial, not a "on/off" switch. "Dials" are where people with minds come in. Imagine if your home's heating system was strictly "on/off" instead of a dial?

Currently, you have government providing the armed forces, the education system, the police, the firefighters, the infrastructure, social security, etc. That means your system is currently part "socialist", in spite of the fact that the radical right reactionary con-artists have demonized the term for people who can't think for themselves.

Interestingly enough, these right-wingers also want privatized prisons, privatized social security, privatized police, privatized education etc... leaving most of us out in the cold. You'd better cherish what little "socialism" we currently have!

...But anyway, Joe McCarthy for President! There, that should make you happy. Gotta keep it simple, right?

If Cruz were the frontrunner and not being used to knock out Trump, the media would be all over this from day one.

Sweden used to be on that list until they allowed the Muslim refugees to come in.

Jeeeesh...

Anyway, (~just to bring this back on topic~) one good way to parse out refugees who should be let in vs those who shouldn't might be to get them around their compatriots and ask them on camera what they think of homosexuals & homosexual rights.

Tell them their answer is going to be on the internet, for all their folks back home to see.

If they're tolerant they earn points, if not, they go back. I'm only half-joking here. The issue of gay rights is probably a good way to gauge who's a religious nut-case or not. It's a flashpoint for these guys. Make it part of the screening!

Okay, carry on...

Cruz scares me.

He is an extremist religion fanatic who would persecute and oppress anyone who goes against his religious beliefs.

Non-Christians - such as Jews and Buddhists, Agnostics and Atheists, pro-Choice folks and especially people in the LGBT community .... BEWARE !!!
