It should be also noted that Phil Gramm got his reward for protecting the banks. After flubbing the McCain campaign of 2008, he went to work for UBS (United Bank Shares) which is one of the TBTF banks that got a bailout. He got a plum job as CEO of their Investment Bank where he got paid very well.

Heads or Tails, people like Phil Gramm always win. You always will lose.

These are the kinds of snakes that are backing Ted Cruz now.

Also reminds me of Obama choosing Immelt as his "jobs Czar," despite Immelt being the biggest outsourcer in the country.

Cruz will continue the say one thing and do another politics.

Agree but hasn't that ALWAYS been the way with Republicans? Isn't that exactly what has the Republican voters all ticked off at them now, because they swore to repeal Obamacare and stop Obama, but didn't do squat?

When are people going to learn that IS politics today, and there is no difference between the aims of either party. The goal is Diversion of the masses, nothing more. That is why I would love to see Bernie win, because he is the ONLY candidate that is not a corporate Ho!

Not just Republicans, but Democrats as well.

Look at the Wall Streeters with inside access to past Democrat presidents Obama, Clinton, LBJ, JFK, etc...

Look at Obama, he is the biggest Trickle Down president in US History. EVERY SINGLE Fed Pick he has made, has been to a QE Trickle Down supporter - it has been great for Wall Street.

I've heard both Sanders and Trump supporters say that their guy can break this trend.

Indeed. Phil Gram couldn't have gotten Glass-Stegall repealed without Bill Clinton.

Now Ted Cruz wants to put Phil Gram into the White House.
