Trump's plan all along was to elect his old pal Hillary.

What a selfish baby Donald Trump is. Not only did he not make a public speech after the contest, he and his campaign are refusing to congratulate Ted Cruz on his win and Trump has now descended into another one of his petulant little name calling fits.

Quote:
Trump: Cruz ‘worse than a puppet’

“Ted Cruz is worse than a puppet -- he is a Trojan horse, being used by the party bosses attempting to steal the nomination from Mr. Trump,” the Trump campaign said in a statement given to Washington Post reporter Robert Costa.

Trump did not congratulate Cruz on his win in Wisconsin, something customary on primary nights. He also did not appear in public on Tuesday night, a departure for the GOP frontrunner who has generally held press events the nights of primaries and contests.

Neither Trump's campaign manager Corey Lewandowski nor his spokeswoman Hope Hicks would return calls, emails, or messages on Tuesday night. Nor would they provide the statement tweeted out by Costa.

And Trump's own Twitter feed was still uncharacteristically quiet more than an hour after Cruz's victory was declared.
You really cannot make this stuff up. And this guy thinks he is fit to be the President of the United States? Is this how we want a President of the United states to act? I don't think so.

Teddy tells us he's most religious. Silly for you to even question his devoutness.

Of course not. We need honest/"leaders" with integrity like hillary and teddy. Silly! If they can only be half as good as the other fine leaders that have been running our country so well for decades now, we can only be so lucky. Insert heart overflowing with joy type music as you read the prior sentences.

That's only been true in caucus states. In open primary states Clinton does about as well as expected, and in closed primary states she usually over-performs polling. Wyoming and the Virgin Islands are the only remaining caucuses, with combined total 28 regular delegates.

Most of the remaining states have closed primaries. There are 5 primaries on April 26, including PA - one of the last populous states. If Bernie is within 200 delegates afterwards his chances are slightly plausible, but if he's trailing by much more than that it's over. Right now it seems like he'll be trailing by about 250-300.

No worries, here comes the Trump Independent run.
The GOP would be happy to lose to Hillary. Absolutely nothing would change in Washington.

Not when he can get time to campaign in the state. Polls are always way better for Hillary a few weeks before the primaries before he starts campaigning in the state and run ads. He had a 2 point average lead in Wisconsin on the RCP average. She was 30 points up in Illinois just a week before the primary. That was an open primary. And now he has time to concentrate on a single state again, instead of focusing on half a dozen states at a time which makes it tough to introduce himself to the voters in the state.

Wake up Dexter ... Cruz is below 50% now.

Nice to see Trump revert back to his old ways and whine like a petulant child - and he has the audacity to run for the highest office in the land? He is a complete disgrace and is tarnishing what is expected of the character and decorum of a presidential candidate. I am by no means a fan of Cruz, or any GOP candidate for that matter, but at least he doesn't throw a tantrum like a spoiled child when he doesn't get his way.

Personally I cannot wait until the GOP convention rolls around, gonna be better than any reality TV show to date - I wonder if the rules will be amended to allow open carry and free alcohol for all attendees? Now THAT would be the greatest show on earth...

oooooh, that's a good one!!

Now where would we be as a nation without the fakeness/false fronts that much of the herd loves in a politician? Thanks for the great laugh though.
