I doubt there will be 3 way with Trump running as an independent.

Default What are the most likely matchups in November 2016?

Clinton vs Other

The Pub establishment seems intent on disenfranchising their base and throwing out the primary results in order to hand the nomination to some guy who isn't even running.

Paul Ryan?

Willard Romney?

Lotsa possibilities...

The GOP want to throw the Dems the election for a 3rd time. I figure, "3 strikes and you're out"!

Cruz vs Clinton

Cruz will win the contested convention, Trump and Cruz will reinforce rule 40b, so I can't see it being anybody else.

The Most Likely Match-ups in November of 2016 will be "other".
It will be whatever our Overlords, the Political Elites and the MEDIA decide it will be.
They will use "Party Rules", Special Party Delegates, Media Hype & Convention Floor Battles if necessary.

They decide, not the silly Fools who vote in Primaries. The RNC has already admitted this is the case.
One of the most interesting things about the 2016 Election Process is that the Silly Voters are now finding out they are nothing but Cannon Fodder to our Political Elite Overlords.

One day - they will push the Citizens too far and reap the whirlwind.
