If you don't think that's a valid claim, fine, let them have their time in front of a jury who can say so. Right now, the law prevents them from having their day in court because too many lawmakers have been bullied into submission by the NRA, including Bernie. Juries should decide these things, not gun manufacturers who have purchased immunity laws.
Thats not a valid claim at all because its NOT US military specs. Military AR15s have the ability to continuous fire (will fire continuously while the trigger is pulled) and select fire ( 2-5 rounds are fired with each trigger pull). Civilian versions of these rifles include neither feature. They are semi automatic fire only which means you have to pull the trigger to fire each shot. Continuous fire and select fire weapons are illegal unless made before 1986 and even then, they are expensive and very hard to get. Basically means you can't go down to your local Walmart and pick up a fully auto rifle. False information from clueless anti-gunners as usual.

This legislation doesn't just protect gun manufacturers, it protects all manufacturers from frivolous lawsuits.

Wrong, this immunity is specific to the gun industry and only the gun industry.

Yep. I don't really get the agenda behind going after NRA and such groups but that is irrelevant when you look beyond the Bloomberg/Brady campaigns. This law is intended to halt frivolous lawsuits.

Then again, the temperance movement was gaining traction a century ago. Today's agenda against guns may as well be the temperance movement of the 21st century.

It is ridiculous. But don't expect anyone in the media to point that out and ask her about it.
