Mississippi poll: Hillary Clinton within 3 points of Donald Trump - POLITICO

I am convinced more than ever that Trump is a Democrat plant designed to sink the GOP's chances in 2016. And if he hands the Dems control of Congress ... well the more the merrier.
The GOP is perfectly capable of sinking its own ship. See 2008/2012 & Ted Cruz for recent examples.

Lets be perfectly clear here, no Republican will ever vote for Hillary Clinton.

Some may sit home if Trump is the candidate, some may vote 3rd party, but most will go out and vote against Hillary.

Many more will sit out or vote 3rd party if the GOP steals the nomination from Trump.

This ... or some may vote HRC just for the individual satisfaction of watching an inflexible GOP party implode.

Just for the sake of argument let's say this is true. How does a plant do so well? Would that be the fault of those who did this or the fault of those being rejected?

Would Trump be in the position he is in unless a large number of people saw the alternative as no longer a viable option?

The solution is to vote for those who have failed you so many times because why?

If the Republican power brokers go against the will of the people at the convention and deny Trump, then it's time for people who support the GOP to stop supporting them, as the GOP will be a dictatorship. If this happens, it will destroy the Republican party- and deservedly so.

If Trump can't get 1237 delegates, the will of "the people" has spoken, and he shouldn't be the nominee.

Why is it that Trump's supporters think "the people" means the @35% who voted for Trump, but not the @65% who voted against him?

It should be the guy no one voted for?

It should be the guy who can get 1237 Republican delegates at the convention. This is not the first time in history no candidate has had 1237 delegates going into the convention.

If Trump comes up short and then at the convention gets to 1237, fine he's the nominee. If he can't, which I don't think he will, then whoever DOES get 1237 delegates is the nominee. That's how it works for those of you who are new to politics.

So that would be "yes, possibly the guy that got zero votes". Right? Why not just say it?

The reason Trump is doing as well as he is because people are paying attention and have grown tired of the old politics.
