Sure Dexter, just like Cruz has long history of lying. If anyone wanted Cruz, he wouldn't be so far down in the delegate count.

We've been thru this already. The ONLY reason Trump is leading the delegate count is because he's benefitted from a very crowded field where it only took 25-30% of the vote to win. He STILL can't get to 50% support in ANY state, Cruz has. Every other front running GOP candidate in the past 40 years had hit 50% several times and had it wrapped up by mid April. If anyone really wanted Trump, this race would be over by now but its not.

So you make the "Rubio" argument, I can only win if the others get out of the race. LOL

One of the more fascinating things about that poll is almost 2/3rds of Republicans surveyed said that Donald Trump should be made the nominee if he receives the most votes of all the candidates.

Of course this isn't mentioned because it doesn't fit the narriative.

Fortunately, Republicans get to pick the Republican nominee.

Democrats who put Obama into office and are now shilling for lifelong liberal and Democrat Donald Trump 24/7 do NOT get to pick the Republican nominee. Sorry Kitty.

Nothing to be sorry about.

Your post absolutely doesn't address what I said. Maybe you didn't understand it.

If no one who has been in the race so far is able to garner the minimal threshold of a bare majority of support--50%+1--there's no reason any party should put such a nominee on the ballot. That would make no sense, because if they can't even get the barest minimal support from their own party, they won't have much of a chance in the general election.

There, I hope you feel better now.
Not really....the statement was that someone that can't get a majority of the vote doesn't deserve the nomination. That is what I replied to.

Seems that those who would agree with that would be O.K. with someone who didn't get a single vote getting the nomination.

The GOP lead Congress funded both Obamacare and Obama's illegal alien program.

Hopefully you aren't then suggesting someone that voted for that are you?

Cruz is being used. If it comes down to a second vote, there is no way they allow Cruz to win. You'll then join those supporting Trump for the same reason.

Either someone gets the necessary numbers or the GOP establishment will see to it that one of their Stepford candidates get it.

On the flip side, if Trump doesn't get the nomination, you'll see GOP senators and reps also lose seats as people are fed up with the dirty tricks the party has been pulling trying to control the elections. If the GOP doesn't want to listen to the people, fine, but when many go, they leave all the GOP candidates behind them.
I think you pretty much nailed it there. The GOP is in a pickle for this election no matter what they do. So, the smart thing is to look beyond 2016 or even 2020 and build a party that can sustain itself and grow. A party with Trump as its public face just doesn't seem to have that quality to it. Cruz either or an old two-faced pol like Kasich for that matter. Rubio is probably the archetype. If I were a Republican bigwig I would be thinking of how best to position the party for and after the coming debacle to clear the way for people like Rubio and Haley of SC.
