So what happens if he doesn't win the rest of the state that's not NYC?

Ted didn't win any votes in CO. He was given the delegates by the establishment

Are you then saying that the supporters for Cruz are only Republicans - because if so - he would have a hard time winning a general election if only Republicans are willing to vote for him as more than 45% of the population calls themselves independents.

Folks - take a look at the profiles of many of these anti-Trump obsessed contributors - if they haven't blocked their profiles - which many have. Many are from CA - many are from very affluent areas - many are so far removed from the real world as they have money, take vacations ect and their feel good about themselves moment is posting on the boards about how horrible the rest of us are.

Bingo.

Only hard core fringe Republicans are going to vote for a Canadian Pentecostal Religious Fundamentalist. He couldn't even win the support of Evangelicals in the South and without that he's completely sunk.

I am not denying nor debating Cruz' electability or lack thereof, my point was to rely to a poster who apprently thought that Trump had Republican support tied up. In actuality, he don't. The only Republican that may win the general election is Kasich because Cruz is not liked in many places and Trump has done a lot of damage to himself over this campaign that finally came to ahead last week.

I'm interested to see how Trump fares upstate NY. He has to make sure Cruz does not get delegates.

Cruz wanted a cheap and easy photo op with something other than a sea of white faces in the background.

Cruz has a very limited regional appeal. He could be President of flyover country, but will never be President of the entire United States.
