Pretty sure its illegal to bribe an attorney general is it not? Why is the media not all over this? Just more crony capitalism by the ultimate crony capitalist, Donald Trump.

Because it's the attorney generals hitting the Trump family up for money, and the AG is being investigated. The New York AG trying to extort Trump story has been out for months, and as usual, the main stream media is just now covering it.

The AG attempts to extort Trump, he reports him, and the anti-Trump crowd claims Trump tries to bribe AG. This is a perfect example of why the anti-Trump crowd has no credibility.

You are entitled to your opinion, but that is all it is. There is no extortion and no facts. And your investigative agency, under investigation, is more like the Better Business Bureau. Anyone can file a complaint--you can do it online at their website.

You have proof of this from a credible source or is this your own opinion?

Proof is being gathered by the investigators. It was reported months ago that New York State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman aggressively pursued donations from the Trump family, and when he was turned down, he brought the case against Trump. There are allegation that Schneiderman told Trump, give him donations, and the suit will go away. Trump didn't go for the extortion, and reported Schneiderman, and now the AG is under investigation.

Default Trump Pays IRS a Penalty for His Foundation Violating Rules

this pertains to trump donating $25,000 to FL AG pam bondi's campaign:

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/...orney-general/

from the article:

"In that year's tax filings, The Post reported, the Trump Foundation did not notify the IRS of this political donation. Instead, Trump's foundation listed a donation — also for $25,000 — to a Kansas charity with a name similar to that of Bondi's political group. In fact, Trump's foundation had not given the Kansas group any money.

The prohibited gift was, in effect, replaced with an innocent-sounding but nonexistent donation."

and

"[ Jeffrey McConney — senior vice president and controller at the Trump Organization ] blamed a series of mistakes, all of them unintentional. McConney said there had been no attempt to deceive."

so to recap this story so far:

* FL AG office receives multiple complaints about "trump university" and consider investigating.

* trump donates $25,000 to FL AG pam bondi's campaign illegally thru his charity.

* bondi decides not to investigate "trump university".

* trump organization falsely reports to the IRS the donation not going to bondi.

i think we'll be hearing more on this story.

I don't see this having any effect on Trump's support, it isn't like we are talking about millions of dollars coming in from the Middle East for favors from the SOS.

Another non-issue in the long string of them.

Looks like the AG may have been extorting Trump.
