Like that's a surprise?
The reservations are the epitome of democrat planning where everything comes from the government, and they want to keep the gravy train rolling.

Outside of casinos, there is very little that could be considered as economic activity on the rez, which is sad as there are several reservations in my state, several different tribes, and only a couple tribes that work to improve their lot through working with their neighbors instead of sitting around waiting for the next BIA check. The Flatheads have embraced modern culture, the Tribes sponsor several companies and industries, they work hard to give opportunity to their tribal members, and for the most part, do a pretty good job of it.
I know several Indians, good people and hard workers, but those people left the rez and work alongside the rest of us.
The tribal governments are usually corrupt and incompetent, the laws on the rez are usually ambiguous or not enforced, (does that sound a lot like the current administration or what?), it's a sad state of affairs.

The only surprise is that those leaders didn't come out for Sanders, except they know he's not going to get the nomination, and they want to back the horse that is the only one that will be in the final race.

The Indian people have so much to offer, they're smart, fun loving, creative people, I just wish they could see it for themselves and actually work to better themselves instead of depending on the feds to pay for everything.

Yes, and let's not forget Pocahontas in Massachusetts doesn't like Trump very much. I'm certain she had a lot of influence on their decision.

The Native American vote is not all-in for Hillary.

Just ask the Senecas or Mohawks up in New York what
they think about Hillary and Obama. They were backstabbed.

Obama shut down their tobacco businesses with the PACT Act.

Seneca Nation of Indians Accuses President Barack Obama of Deliberately Betraying Native Americans by Signing the PACT Act
