Romney ran for president in the '08 primaries but dropped out right before Super Tuesday.

romney.......some wise words for you......another reminder, worth repeating, maybe tape these words to your refrigerator:

"Give us the grace to accept with serenity the things that cannot be changed,
Courage to change the things which should be changed,
And the wisdom to distinguish the one from the other."

The word wisdom is the key element that I think you're missing.

Well, we've certainly had trickle-down SJWism. And frankly, the discrimination against orange people this election cycle has been nothing short of appalling .

Talking Romney warns Trump's rhetoric could lead to "Trickle Down Racism"

Dear Willard:

Pull-EEZ!

You're not ever going to be taken seriously again, so give it a rest.

Trickle-down racism has been the GOP's stock in trade for the past generation. Guys like you have just wanted it dressed up as something more palatable; as in "trickle-down economics."

All Drumpf has done is to pull off the mask.

And that's what guys like you hate so much.

You've lost your cover.

Trump has already changed the national dialogue. We were at a point of suffocating PC culture where we had to constantly walk on eggshells to avoid offending the easily offended. Now people are coming out and speaking up about issues that were taboo only a few yeas ago.

Sure, a Trump presidency might bring out more racists. So be it. I'd rather have that than the elaborate game of pretend that we lived with for so many years.

Romney is trying to remind conservatives that there is something more important than politics. I'm guessing one way or another (win or lose) that there will be a split between people who identify as conservatives and those who identify as Republicans. Not sure which group will be the GOP.

He's right, to have a person lead the GOP who has said; she's a Jew, he's a Mexican, my African American, or who has insulted; women, Native Americans, Asians and handicap people will be the end for the GOP as a relevant party under Trump. If Trump wins he will not be the leader of the free world. There will another de facto person in US politics whose judgement world leaders will trust to make decisions and consider as the true conscious of all Americans.

IMO Old line politicians from either party feel like what is at stake is the status of the office of president. The office could now be won by puppets, figure heads or mascots while someone more qualified actually runs the country. Kinda like in Cuba or other third world countries.

Not just bring out more racists and legitimize them, but there will be increased violence and increased radicalization of disaffected citizens who are stigmatized.

Trump is not a racist. We have been through this many times. Those that cry racist base it on their own feelings toward other races, yes, they actually believe we all feel that way.

They have had to exploit this "racist" thing because they have nothing else and they don't realize it, but they don't have that either.

Maybe after all, it isn't about "race" which Hispanic isn't in the first place, it is an ethnicity, but illegal aliens.

good Post and for the record Trumps Issue with the Latina Judge is a ligament concern, because of the Judges connections and was appointed by Bill Clinton.
Plus it is call change of Venue and every defendant is entitled to this legal action. Change of Venue done everyday.

Romney is more worried about no longer being relevant and protecting his money from the Trump tax plan.
