Trump's campaign is broke? What happened to self-funding? What happened to Trump didn't need anyone's money because he has billions?

Republicans Stunned After Trump Reveals That His Presidential Campaign Is Broke

When Donald Trump told Republicans that his campaign had money, it was a lie. In meeting with Senate Republicans, Trump's campaign privately admitted that they have no money and will not be able to run television ads until after the GOP convention in July.

Trump is also refusing to use his own money to fund his campaign. In other words, what Donald Trump is telling the voters is completely different from what is happening behind closed doors.

Trump has always said that should he get the nomination, the RNC will fund his campaign.

Who needs tv ads/so much money for them if you're trump? He's done a great job using the media as his microphone on many fronts for basically free so I don't see why that couldn't continue. And does anyone get their information mostly from the tv these days anyways? C'mon.

And if people need silly non-stop negative ads on tv that cost 100's millions of dollars to tell them how to vote because they can't process information/research/figure it all out on their own, I don't think such people should be voting.

Wait, WHAT? I thought the whole narrative was that Trump has so much money, he can't be bought. That's what supposedly makes him such a good candidate. He says he's a billionaire.

Now he's not going to use any of that money and instead indent himself politically to his GOP donors who will fund his campaign to keep him competitive?

Well, there goes that "can't be bought" shtick out the window...

Of course Trump's campaign, just like the candidate, is broke as a joke. He's a cheap fraud who took advantage of a bunch of yahoos. Everyone who thinks he's legit should enroll in Trump U because surely that's not a scam but a great way to learn how to get rich quick, right?

The reasoning of the people who invested in Trump U is no different from the reasoning of the current batch of supporters. Both feel that, being a successful, rich man himself, he must have some special knowledge and skills that will rub off on them.

I've heard so many people say that because Trump can run a business, he surely can run this country. But they fail to see that the two are totally different and require a much different approach and mindset. Trump seems to think he will be able to bully other world leaders, just as he has bullied people in the past when buying a building. He will be in for a big surprise, if he gets that chance.

If people think we are disliked around the world now, just let this bull loose in the china shop and see how hated and shut out we will be. When he starts with "We are going to make them do such and such", their response will be "Oh, really !"

You may not like the topic but Trump has spent the last year bragging about all his money, how he will fund his own campaign, doesn't need to take money from donors so he is therefore independent, etc. when in fact, it's not true.

And by the way, Koch brothers won't be contributing to the RNC convention this year either. Apparently they are definitely NOT Trump fans.

Well that should be good right, they are the devil incarnate to the likes of Rachel Maddow. One would think you would be happy.
