Is this the party who ran a US Senator for NY State who openly said she was against Gay Marriage? The Same one who pressed her husband for Dont Ask Dont Tell and the Defense of America Act?

This speaks for itself. Gays don't gain anything by voting for a party just because it's "the party".

And Trump has specifically stated this year that he would nominate judges that would overturn Obergefell. This year in my state republicans have passed laws that allow me to be denied service in businesses, in government offices, from government funded orgs, in housing and would allow me to be fired for being gay.
Democrats are not the ones fighting to deny me equal rights.
